Layla sat at the table waiting anxiously for Jerome to come through the doors. Her and Kain did some digging around and found exactly at what facility he was being held at.

Although Dave told them that he and Rome no longer communicated for reasons concerning his mothers passing Layla couldn't help but wonder if something more had happened between them.

Kain on the other hand didn't really care for this visit. To him Rome was always an asshole who loved to pick on him so he didn't really bother with him. He was closer with Dave and wouldn't hesitate to pick Dave's side over Jerome's any day.

Layla knew that if Dave and Desire found out that they were here against their wishes she would be in a boat of trouble but she needed answers. She needed to know why they fell off if everyone used to be so close.

Of course they had their moments but never left one another hanging how Dave was doing to him.

She wanted to make sure her other brother was good. But she also wanted answers as to why she felt Desire hated him.

She didn't want to think anything of it considering how much she loved Desire and was thankful for everything she's done for her and her siblings but that wouldn't matter if she needed to pick a side because regardless she was choosing her brothers.

"Why are we even here?" Kain asked bored out of his mind

They didn't let them use phones in here so they were passing the time just looking around the room and staring at the other inmates and their families.

"What you mean why are we here? Kain is been a year since we seen Jerome don't you want to see how he's doing and most importantly why he's in here?" She asked her brother clearly annoyed at his attitude

"Honestly no. Whatever he did must have been if it landed him in here this long" He shrugged

"He could've been falsely accused"

"Yeah he could've but some tells me he wasn't" Kain said looking around seeing the doors opening.

On the other side of the doors Jerome walked out wondering who the hell was here visiting him. The whole time he's been behind bars nobody has came so this was a surprise even though he really couldn't blame anybody for not wanting shit to do with him.

The guards took the handcuffs off letting him go. He scanned the room for anyone familiar then his landed on his siblings. A smile spread across his face as he made his way over to them.

Layla quickly got up attacking him in a hug as a few tears slid down her face. The guard told them to pull apart and they did as told.

"You look beautiful baby girl" He told Lala as they took a seat "And wassup with you? Yo bro gets no love?" He asked Kain who just sat there

"Wassup bro" He put his fist out for Rome to dap.

"What are ya'll doing here? I thought ya'll was with granny" Rome asked

"We were but we ran away because she wasn't treating us right so we living with Dave and Desire" Layla said

Jerome's body tensed once Desire's name was brought up. It's been a while since he's heard that name but he thought about the hell he caused her.

While being locked up he had time to think back on his mistakes. He regretted everything he did to her. He felt horrible for his actions especially when she never did anything bad to him.
