2 Years Later
I walked in the house seeing Layla and he boyfriend Rashad on the couch
"Aye ya'll to close" I told them as I seen them all cuddled up.
It's been 2 years and I'm still not used to seeing her this close to a guy. It took me a while to like this nigga for the simple fact that he's basically my age.
This nigga's 20 years old dating a 17 year old. I was against it but I got tired of fighting with her about her sneaking around and shit so I just gave in.
Of course her ass still got rules and shit that they both gotta follow but so far he's been pretty good to her. She hasn't came crying to me about him cheating or her even thinking he's cheating so as long as it stays that way I'll let them be.
"Dave" Layla whined
"Dave nothing" I laughed "Where's everyone else at?"
"Kain's mowing the lawn in the back yard Heaven's sleep and Desire's been up in her room all day"
I frowned when she said that
"All day? She good?"
"Uh I think so. I checked on her a couple of times and she said she was good" Layla shrugged
"Let me go check on her. No funny business" I mugged them making my way upstairs.
I stopped in Heaven's room making sure she was straight before walking into my room
Walking in I seen Desire on the bed sitting Indian style with books and papers surrounding her
"What you doing love?" I asked walking in
She looked up giving me a smile
"Hey baby. I'm just studying for the bar exam"
"The fuck is a bar exam?" I moved some shit so I could take a sit on the bed with her
"It's the test I need to take so I can get my license to become a lawyer"She smiled wide
"So you pass it and you official?" I grabbed some papers reading over it getting confused instantly at all the bullshit that was written on it
"Yes! Once I pass it Mr.James my boss said he'll give me a job right away"
I smiled pulling her to me placing a kiss on her lips but of course I had to deepen it
