I stood there frozen. I slowly turned around facing the man that's been taking advantage of me standing right in front of my face.
"Wh-at?"
"You heard me baby" he smirked caressing my cheek
I quickly moved his hand trying to move away
"Des i see you met my brother Jerome" Dave came in smiling wide
This is the happiest I've seen him. How can I take that happiness away from him? How can I tell him that his brother is a sick bastard?
"Yeah we met. She's really pretty bro" He looked at him then at me
"Ima go get the mail real quick since I forgot earlier Ight. I'll be back" He said heading towards the door
"Wait let me come with" I said quickly in hopes he won't leave me alone with him
"It's cool besides you need to relax" he smiled then walked out
"I see you're trying to leave me already"
"Please leave me alone" I begged
I felt something being pressed against my stomach
"Ima leave you alone for now but soon we'll be alone again. And one word to Dave about what's going on and I'll kill you and him. Got it" He said And thats when I realized I was being held at gun point in my own house
I stood there in fear. I didn't know how to respond
"I said you got it?" he grabbed my neck
"Ye-es" i stuttered to say
"You better not try no slick shit either trying to kick me out or anything you got?"
"Yes" i answer quickly
He let go of my neck and I ran to my room.
I got in bed sitting in fetal position
At this point I was scared. Not for me but for Dave. If I tell Dave and he doesn't believe then Jerome's going to kill him and it'll be my fault
If he does believe me then Dave will kill him and spend his whole life in jail. Either way it'll be my fault for his outcome and I couldn't live with myself if anything happened to him
In the little time I've known Dave I grew to love him to much to put him in harms way. I just had to find another way out.
"Aye whats wrong?" Dave said rushing to my side
I didn't even realize that I had tears coming from my eyes
"Nothing just in pain but Ima just sleep it off"i told him
