I walked through the halls of Lehman College. I was finally taking the step I needed to further my education.
I had gotten my GED a couple months ago so I was ready to go.
I walked into the office so I could attend my meeting with the board director. He said he was going to do everything in his power so that I wouldn't pay much for the courses considering my financial situation.
Although Anthony left me enough money to cover everything I didn't want to rely on it for everything.
I rather work to pay my education than use his money and have him and his family saying I wouldn't be shit without them and their money.
I walked up to the secretary desk.
"Hello How May I help you?" The cheerful lady asked with a smile plastered on her face
"Yes I have an appointment with Carlos William" I smiled
"Name?"
"Desire Jones"
"Oh yes Mr.Williams has been expecting you. His office is right through those doors" She pointed to two doubles on the right side
I nodded my head making my way over to the office
I knocked twice before I was told to come in.
Walking in I see a tall buff man staring out the window.
"Mr.William?"
"Yes you must be Desire?" He turned around to face me
"Yeah that's me" I smiled
"Please have a seat so we can get started" he pointed to the chairs in front of him
I walked over taking a seat getting my transcripts and paper work out my bag.
"So you're interested in Law correct?"
"Yes. I'm hoping to become a lawyer in the future"
"Excellent! Well we have a lot of amazing Law enforcement programs that will work with you and your schedule"
