2 Months Later!
I walked to my apartment door with Walmart bags in one hand and Heaven in the other
Anthony had school all morning so I offered to babysit since I was off and had nothing to do. And besides I loved her. She was just so sweet and adorable
We had just got back from doing some Christmas decoration shopping and I couldn't wait to get started decorating.
Christmas was my favorite time of year because the atmosphere just seem so different to me.
Everyone was willing to give and look out for others.
Christmas was 3 weeks away so I had to hurry up and get everything ready fo that day.
Since I spent Thanksgiving with Anthony and his family I figured I'll have Christmas at my house
On Thanksgiving was the first time I met his parents and they're just so sweet and humble. Everyone loved me and it felt good to be in that kind of environment for once.
I clicked instantly with everyone
"Desire can we bake a cake?" She looked up at me batting her eyelashes
"Of course baby. After you help me decorate the Christmas tree we can bake a cake sounds good?" I asked her as we reached my door
"Yes" She squealed
"Dess" i heard someone yell
I turned my head seeing It was Layla and Kain who were just getting home from school.
Dave signed them up the first week they got here because he didn't want them to miss out on anything.
They're smart kids so they caught on quick
"Hey guys" I smiled as I took them in a hug
"Layla! Kain!" Heaven squealed
I introduced them 2 months ago and Heaven loves them.
I swear having all these kids around be making me feel like I'm 30 instead of 18
I unlocked the door letting everyone in.
Layla and Kain always came over after school instead of going home since Layla's always into It with Sandra.
"Y'all know the drill. Homework before y'all do anything else" I told them
They nodded their heads taking a seat at the kitchen table getting their stuff out.
