"Mommy we go home now?" Heaven whined as we sat in the library of the school
I needed to study for my quiz tomorrow so I decided to take advantage of the quietness of the library since nobody was here. I had Heaven because there was nobody to watch her. Dave was at work and the kids were at school
"Yes baby we can go" I laughed putting my things in my book bag.
Guess I'll have to study at home
I put her sweater on since it was kind of chilly outside before grabbing her hand. I threw my book bag on my shoulder making sure I had everything then started walking out the library.
We reached the car and I put her in strapping her up then getting in myself and turning my car on
"Mommy can we go to the store?"
"For What baby?"
"Toys"She squealed
I laughed at her excitement.
It was going on 9 months that she's been with me and I can't lie and say I wasn't attached to her. I loved that little girl like she's mine.
"Okay Baby We Can get you a toy"
"Yay! Can I see you phone?" She asked
"For What baby?" I asked as I grabbed my phone
"To call Dave" she smiled
She loved Dave and there's no doubt that he loved her
Seeing him with her makes me wish that my baby hadn't died. I know Dave wants a baby and at times I do too but honestly we're still so young and we have 3 kids to take care of that it's not the right time.
Maybe if we're still together in our mid 20s then we can try but right now I just don't think it's a good idea.
I dialed his number putting the phone on speaker before passing it to her
"Hey baby" he answered
"Dave" She squealed
"Oh wassup princess" he laughed
"Me and mommy going to the store" she told him
"Oh word? What y'all gonna buy?"
"Toys and lots of toys" she giggled
"Aw man you going without me?" He pretended to get sad
