Jimin wished Yoongi would've been nice enough to leave him on semester break.
Now, Jimin was sitting in the lecture hall again, trying to follow his professor and not be distracted by the low temperature the room seemed to have; or the new hair color this girl sitting two rows in front of him had – had he ever actually talked to her before? There were many people in this degree that Jimin had never exchanged a word with, not even a glance.
Of course, he couldn't be friends with everyone, but maybe meeting some new people wouldn't harm him.
It was the first time after Yoongi that Jimin thought about meeting new people. Was that a good sign?
Wow, it really was cold in here – Jimin should've put on a warmer hoodie. He looked over to his left, to the wall which was covered in windows only to find one of them opened.
No wonder he was freezing. It was almost October, and although most of the days were still pretty nice, some of them were already rainy and grey. Today was one of these days, the sky was cloudy and the wind made the trees bend down and even lose their first leaves.
Yoongi had never been one to really go outside, but sometimes Jimin could convince him to go for a walk with him, and on days like these, they would walk trough the city in search of a nice coffee shop, or maybe a music store. They were rare these days but Yoongi loved them, so it was worth the hour long walks.
Sometimes, Yoongi would cup Jimin's hands with his own and rub them until they got warm again. Jimin liked that.
Taehyung had asked him when he was free again. He'd been wanting to go to a club again for a few days now and had been annoying Jimin the whole time.
Jimin remembered that when he saw his phone's screen light up.
Up until now, he'd always rejected the idea of going partying. He wasn't against drinking alcohol or having a little fun, he just simply didn't feel like it.
How possible was it to meet new people in a club? Maybe Jimin should give it one try, at least... besides, getting drunk again didn't sound too bad. He knew how much fun it could be to drink with Taehyung.
The window was still open and it started to really get on Jimin's nerves when suddenly, someone cleared their throat right next to him, startling Jimin and making him look up with widened eyes.
There stood a guy that Jimin had never seen before, and he was looking down at him.
"Uh, hi. Sorry, could you maybe send me your notes? I didn't really pay attention," he asked, followed by a crooked smile.
"What?" Jimin asked, blushing as he realized how addled he sounded.
He blinked and glanced around – everyone else was getting up. The lecture was over. How lost in thought had he been?
"Your notes. You always take some, right? Can you send them to me?" the guy asked again. He didn't sound annoyed, yet Jimin felt like he was.
Jimin looked at his laptop and noticed the almost empty file on his screen.
"Sure..." he replied without thinking for one second.
The guy gave him another quick smile and patted his shoulder.
"Thanks man!"
Then, he left, along with the other students. Jimin blinked once more before quickly closing his laptop and gathering his stuff as fast as possible.
He stumbled out of the hall while wondering how the hell he was supposed to send his non-existing notes to the guy if he didn't even have his number or e-mail address. But the answer came quickly to him as he realized that oh well, his notes didn't exist, he hadn't taken any, so he couldn't send them to anyone.
And that brought Jimin back to wondering if it would be good to meet some new people, maybe, or at least get out for some time.
His answer was 'Yes'. Maybe he needed that. To have some fun.
To forget.

"Wow," Taehyung said and grinned, "You look good!"
"I look normal," Jimin corrected.
"Then you look normally good. Either way, take it as a compliment." Taehyung's grin grew even more. Jimin closed his eyes and chuckled.
"Yeah, alright."
As soon as Jimin noticed he didn't have any classes until 2pm the next day, he had texted Taehyung that he actually was free that evening – he didn't know where his sudden eager to get out was coming from – and now he was dressed in a white shirt, a jean jacket and black pants which totally wasn't him, and Jimin knew that, but for some reason he thought that this were the clothes he had to wear that night.
"How long has it been since you've last been to a club?" Taehyung asked as they walked downstairs.
Jimin shrugged. "Quite some time," he replied quietly. They left the house and stepped outside into the cool evening air. The sky was still grey, but even darker than before.
"The last time was with Yoongi, as far as I know–"
"Okay, stop right there," Taehyung interrupted him and glared at him.
"I don't wanna hear that name tonight, got it?"
Jimin nodded.
"This is about you and me and maybe about any other person we might meet tonight, this is two best friends having fun and not two best friends and one is trying to have fun while the other one is still mourning after his ex." Taehyung huffed and shook his head.
"I can't believe you're still not over this dickhead. It's been almost two weeks!"
"It's been only almost two weeks," Jimin corrected him softly. He knew Taehyung was trying his best to be the best friend possible, and he really appreciated that, but sometimes he wished Taehyung would be a bit more empathetic.
"We've been together for four years, it takes a bit more than a few days to forget all of that."
"You don't have to forget him," Taehyung said without looking at Jimin. He was a lot quieter now.
"Just... don't think about him for tonight, yeah?"
And at that, Jimin nodded. Even if it was hesitantly.
The walk was along, but clubs were expensive and drinks were as well, plus Jimin would rather save his money for more important things.
They had to wait outside in the cold for quite some time, and as soon as they entered the building, Jimin regretted all of his life choices.
But only for a moment, because then, Taehyung was dragging him through sweaty and hot bodies towards the bar.
"Thank God," Jimin gasped as they reached the bar, "I thought I would have to die in there."
"Oh come on, it wasn't too bad. I already saw at least three attractive people!" Taehyung said and laughed when Jimin hit him against the shoulder.
"Whatever. Can we have a drink now?" he chuckled as his cheeks were flushing a little.
Taehyung just grinned at him.
Jimin didn't even hear what he ordered them, but when he saw the hot red drink he knew something was going to happen.
It wasn't even the drink itself; he could somehow sense that whatever they were going to do, it wasn't a good idea and wouldn't end well.
Jimin had no idea why he felt like that, and it was gone after a split second again, so he grabbed his drink and took a first, huge sip.
One drink turned into two, and into three, and into some more, and suddenly, the bad feeling had been long forgotten.
This was about Taehyung and Jimin, right? This was about them having fun.
What in the world could fuck that up?
An.: okay now this is the first chapter that I am truly, truly unhappy with, like I don't like it at all, but the next ones should be better again and I'll try to take some more time for writing them. At least, the real storyline is starting soon.
