The harbor was a place holding a mighty amount of memories. As soon as Jimin walked down the steps to the promenade, he started getting emotional.

He had spent so many hours down here with all of his friends, warm summer nights with a few bottles of alcohol and music playing in the background as the sun set and they could watch the Han river be engulfed in the prettiest colors. It was truly a place dear to his heart.

He hadn't thought he would be here again any time soon.

The day was grey, the sun hid behind a thick layer of clouds. A cold breeze made him wrap his jacket closer around himself.

"I keep telling you to just close your jacket," a voice sounded behind him. Jimin turned around and saw Yoongi walking down the stairs, approaching him. There was a soft smile on his face. "Even after all these years you don't listen to me."

Jimin's stomach churned. "Hey," he said, paused. "You... do keep telling me."

"If you get sick then that won't be my fault." Yoongi stopped and sat down next to Jimin. "How are you?"

He sounded a lot gentler now. Jimin lowered his gaze. "I'm good. A bit..." He reconsidered his thoughts, looked over at the water that was glistening despite the sun not being out. "Overwhelmed?"

Yoongi hummed. "I understand."

"When was the last time we were here with everyone?" Jimin wondered, "I don't even remember."

"Some point in summer."

"Probably." Jimin turned to Yoongi. "And how are you?"

"Good," Yoongi said, "A bit nervous."

Jimin hummed. "Me too."

Another soft breeze tousled his hair. He heard Yoongi chuckle next to him as he frantically tried to fix it and pouted at him with a blush adorning his cheeks. "Don't laugh!"

"'m not." Yoongi shrugged, grinning. "You look cute, 's all."

Jimin's blush darkened. Then, he turned serious again as the reason for their meeting came back to his mind. Yoongi seemed to read his thoughts; his grin slowly disappeared.

"So." He cleared his throat. "Here we are, huh?"

Jimin nodded. "Do you, uh... do you want to start?"

Yoongi's eyes widened. "Me? I – I mean, I can..."

"It's okay. I can start, too." Jimin turned his gaze back on the water. It was easier not to look at Yoongi while pouring his heavily beating heart out. Where was he even supposed to start?

He opened his mouth a few times only to end up closing it again, then chuckled.

"Actually, I don't know either..."

Yoongi suppressed a smile. "It's fine. We both came unprepared, I guess."

Over the past few days, Jimin had thought a lot about everything. About how they had ended up breaking up, about what could've had led them there, about all the mess that had ensued. He had even dug up the bad memories box he had made with Seokjin and Taehyung months ago and had gone through all the stuff in there.

He wasn't necessarily unprepared. Just... overwhelmed. He looked at Yoongi who fiddled with the sleeve of his jacket.

A certain, distant memory hit him then. He halted.

"A year ago," he said, "We were here with the others a year ago... in summer." He turned his head away again, looking somewhat gloomy. "I don't know why I remember that. It was when I stayed with you all week and it rained and once it stopped we met the others down here." He picked up a little pebble lying by his feet. "It was a beautiful day."
