Jungkook's fingers in Jimin's hair felt wrong. His touch didn't feel like home, it was nothing Jimin was craving right now and he felt uneasy – he had every right for that, but it was all his fault and he knew that.
Yoongi had kissed him. He had kissed Yoongi. What the fuck had gotten into him?
Of course, guilt-ridden Jimin had gone to Jungkook right after. Why? He wasn't sure himself, maybe to prove to himself that he had a great relationship, that this was what he wanted, not Yoongi.
Did it work? No.
They were sitting on Jungkook's couch. Jimin had his head on his lap. The TV was running, but neither of them was paying any attention to it – Jimin's was staring at his screen but he was lost in his own thoughts, and Jungkook had eventually taken out his phone and hadn't looked up from it once.
His fingers, though, were still on Jimin's skull, massaging his skin, twirling his blonde locks.
Jimin sighed.
"Who're you texting, huh?" he asked, just to start a conversation. Jungkook didn't lower his phone.
"No one."
Jimin glanced at him, then returned to staring at the TV. "You sure?"
"Mhm."
The silence following was unbearable. Jimin shifted, then, he sat up. His eyes were on Jungkook again. An uncomfortable knot started to form in his stomach.
"You're not."
"What?"
"You're not in love with him."
Yoongi's voice played in Jimin's head, over and over again, and he could feel his lips on his own again and his hands on his waist and it felt good, so good, Jimin was craving it like nothing else.
He didn't even notice Jungkook was staring back at him.
"What?" he asked. Jimin blinked.
"Huh?"
Jungkook chuckled. He locked his phone and put it aside, then he turned towards Jimin.
"You've been staring," he told him, "Are you alright?"
Jimin blinked again.
I made out with my ex boyfriend, he thought, and as he looked at Jungkook who softly smiled at him, he felt so, so terrible he wanted to throw up.
"I don't know," he said, "I think I might be catching a little cold."
Jungkook's eyes softened. He wrapped his arms around Jimin's waist and pulled him closer, against his chest.
"It's okay, I can take care of you."
And normally, Jimin's heart would have to burst at that, at the younger's sweetness, and he should be happy to have Jungkook and forget about Yoongi.
But there was nothing that he was feeling, just a weird hollowness, and these were not the arms he wanted to lie in.
He felt cold.
He needed someone else, he realized as him and Jungkook were lying on the couch, a certain someone else.
A certain Min Yoongi, and suddenly, Jimin knew that he wasn't over Yoongi, and he wasn't in love with Jungkook. Not one bit. No matter how often he tried to tell himself just that.
Hey guys, I'm sorry this chapter is so short, but if I wrote a longer one, it would only get repetitive at one point, sooo... yeah, but longer chapters will follow soon!
