Hello everyone, and merry Christmas!

Where I live, we celebrate Christmas on December 24th, so I'll update as a present for all of you! Hopefully, I'll manage to update Reset weekly from now on, every Wednesday! I have prewritten a bunch of chapters, therefore I'm quite optimistic. If I don't keep up with it, I'm very sorry. But yeah, for now, merry Christmas, and enjoy this chapter!

Being alone most of the time now took its toll on Jimin's mental health. He wasn't used to it – usually, Yoongi had been there most of the time, and then, there had been Jungkook. Now, he had to learn how to be alone, which sounded weird on its own. But it was true, Jimin wasn't used to it. Taehyung didn't always have time for him, obviously, and hanging out with Jungkook now after their breakup would be weird. So, one afternoon, Jimin called Namjoon and asked if he could come over.

Namjoon agreed, simply warned him that Hoseok would be there, too. Jimin didn't mind; the more, the merrier.

Namjoon greeted him with a huge smile. "Hey, Jimin."
Jimin hugged him. It felt way too good to be held like that, even though it was a short touch.
Hoseok was already sitting on the couch, a steaming cup of coffee in his hands. "You want one as well?"
Jimin shook his head and smiled as a thanks, then took a seat next to him. Namjoon joined them on the loveseat.

"I rarely get to see you anymore," Hoseok complained, "What are you doing the whole week, huh?"
"Oh, just... university, you know," Jimin lied, at the same time thinking about how he hadn't done anything for his studies in a while, "Takes up a lot of my time, you know."
Hoseok had that look on his face, one that told Jimin that he didn't believe him. "Our Jiminie, always working hard," he said nonetheless.

"Glad you could make it today," Namjoon said, "Honestly, I've been a bit worried about you recently."
"We all have," added Hoseok and took a sip of his coffee. Jimin chuckled nervously.
"Wow, dropping the deep topics on me right away."
"Sorry," Namjoon said, "You don't have to talk to us if you don't want to, but... I feel like it would be good for you, you know? Getting it all out, having someone besides Taehyung to try and help you."

Jimin knew what Namjoon meant by that. Taehyung had a large temperament, and it showed repeatedly, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing; just a bit counterproductive at times.

"Just keep that in mind," Namjoon said with a sympathetic smile and then turned to Hoseok, probably to continue their conversation from earlier. Jimin shifted in his seat and tugged at the sleeves of his shirt. Suddenly, he felt nervous.

"Yoongi kissed me."

Namjoon turned right back to his friend; his smile disappeared, his eyes widened. Hoseok didn't look as shocked, just surprised. Had he known already...? Had Yoongi talked to him about it? Had Yoongi talked about Jimin?

"What?" Namjoon asked, exchanging a quick glance with Hoseok. Jimin just stared into space, as if he was daydreaming.
"He kissed me about two weeks ago," he said, "When I was still with Jungkook."

Silence followed. Namjoon seemed unsure about whether it was just a joke or not; Hoseok looked knowingly.
"That's, uh..." Namjoon stuttered, "I can't say I'm surprised."
"You sure look like it."
"Well." He ran a hand through his hair, desperately trying to find the right words to say. He threw a helpless look at Hoseok.

"Yoongi told me," Hoseok jumped in, putting his mug down on the coffee table, "About right after it happened."
Jimin glanced at him. So Yoongi did talk about him. "What did he say?"
Hoseok raised his arms in defense. "I don't think it's really my place to tell you that."

Of course he would say that. It was the only fair thing to do. Yet, Jimin couldn't help but feel disappointed. He sighed and turned his head away. "Sure."

Hoseok's face softened. He placed a hand on Jimin's arm. "Hey. I..." He paused, reconsidered his words. "I told him that what he did wasn't fair." His words made Jimin's stomach drop. He closed his eyes for a moment. No, none of this was truly fair.
"You're still not over him, are you?"
It wasn't a hard question to answer, not at all. Jimin shrugged anyway, maybe for his own satisfaction.
"It's hard," he said. Yoongi had always been a part of his life. Jimin had almost forgotten how life without him was.

"You need time. It's okay. It'll pass," Namjoon said, and even though it was the most generic thing he could've said, Jimin knew he meant it.
"I honestly think you two should talk again," Hoseok added, "And maybe I'm alone here, but... I heard Yoongi's side and I know how you feel and what happened, so... I'm almost certain that if you guys keep going like this, there won't ever be a resolution."
"Resolution?" Jimin asked, "Did Yoongi say something?"
At that, Hoseok sighed. "Nothing that would make you happier."

Talking to Yoongi sounded so plausible, so easy, yet Jimin knew it would probably go wrong.
"He doesn't want to see me," he said, "I can't just show up at his doorstep and demand we talk."
"Why not?" Namjoon asked, "If he sends you away then... that's an answer as well. Then, you know where you stand."
"Exactly." Hoseok nodded. "And if you talk..."

What could go wrong? Jimin thought.
Everything. He could blow all his chances with Yoongi. Or could he?
Did he even have any chances left?

"I guess," he eventually sighed and shook his head. "I'll... I'll think about it. But now, please," he paused and sighed, clapping his hands together, "Please distract me, okay? If I spend any more time thinking about what could or could not be, I'm going to lose my mind."

At that, Namjoon and Hoseok started grinning. "Will do."
