Jisoo looked at his back walking away from her. Tears were streaming down her face yet she didn't bother wiping them. Passersby looked at her weirdly but she didn't mind them. All she wanted was to run after him. But she can't. She can't because she knew how badly she hurt him. She caused him pain all those years they've been together.
All she wanted was for him to look back at her like the way he wanted her to do so.

She walks inside the church with a happy mood. Her friend, Jiae, is getting married today at the age of 23. Jisoo can't believe she's settling down at a young age, but she can't blame her tho. Jiae and Yoongi are together since highschool and are going strong since then. She's happy for the both of them.
She looks around the church to look for someone she knows. Her eyes wander through the crowd, when suddenly a face—a familiar face—catches her attention.
He's here, Jisoo thought. She panics and looks away. Ofcourse he's here. Yoongi is also his close friend. She steals a glance at him— admiring his handsome face and how he looks like prince in his suit—when suddenly his eyes meet hers. She freezes and her eyes widen. She can feel heat creeping up in her cheeks and neck.
He gives her a soft smile that makes her heart almost jump out of her chest. She smiles awkwardly and stares at the ground. Oh my god, why didn't I think about him attending the wedding? I'm so dumb. I should've prepared myself.
Seokjin is talking to a guest, when a certain woman distracts him. He can't believe how she can be this beautiful. Her beauty takes his breath away. Her hair is now blonde which is so different from the black hair she has the last time he saw her. So beautiful.
He wants to keep her with him forever. He goes back to the guest who is trying to catch his attention. He feels someone is watching him. He turns to that direction and his breath once again is taken away when his eyes meet hers. He sees her eyes widen and he wants to drag her away because of how adorable she is. He smiles softly at her.
He wonders how she didn't leave his heart after a year of trying to let go. But now, he has the answer. It's because he doesn't want her to leave his heart. Not ever.
The ceremony finished with the kiss of the beautiful couple. They're now at the reception event where everyone is having fun. Jisoo smiles at the married couple who are looking at Mijoo and Hoseok dancing crazily. They are so embarrassed at how they are behaving. She continues to watch her friends being crazy.
Someone fills in the seat beside her. She turns to her right and finds Seokjin there sitting beside her. She gulps and smiles awkwardly. Seokjin laughs at her and she feels herself blushing.
"Why are you so awkward? I thought I'm the awkward one between us," he teases."I-I j-just ca-an't—"she starts stutter and although Seokjin finds it cute, he wants her to act normal around him. Like before it happened.
He touches her shoulders and says, "Hey, it's just me. No need to be nervous." He smiles encouragingly at her. Jisoo finally relaxes and lets out a small smile.
"So, how are you? We haven't met since, um, that day," he says carefully.
"Oh. Uh, I'm fine. How about you?" She asks while looking at her fingers. This isn't like them. Before, they would just throw banters to each other and talk all night until the two of them sleep with their phone in their ears. Seokjin would play her ears and she would scowl at him. They would do crazy things with their friends and the two of them alone. Is this really the end of their shared memories?
Silence surrounds the two of them. They watch everyone dancing with their loved ones while a slow song plays.
Jisoo smiles when she sees Jungkook and Yein looking into each other's eyes lovingly. She sighs and sips her wine. She envies the two younger couple. She wants someone to look at her like how the two of them look at each other. Someone looked at her lovingly before, but she let him go. He deserves someone better, she thought.
Seokjin sighs loudly. "I can't take this anymore. Let's cut this bullshit and talk like how we talk to each other before. This is not us," he says, frustrated. The silence is not a comfortable one and that pisses him. They used to talk non-stop before and he wants it back. He wants them back.
He wants her back.
Jisoo stares at him and laughs out loud. Seokjin can't help but join her. They laugh so hard and they don't even know why. They laugh and laugh and laugh. When it is too painful to laugh, they stop with smiles still gracing their faces.
Seokjin reaches a hand to wipe the tears in her face because of too much laughter. Jisoo's heart beats so fast when she feels his touch. His eyes are looking at hers with so much intensity that makes her want to faint right there, right now. As cliché as it is, it's like everyone around them disappear and the two of them are left alone.
He smiles at her and says, "I missed you." His hand is caressing her cheek.
She leans in his touch and smiles back at him. "I missed you too."
Their faces are moving closer and closer when something interrupts them.
They lean away with blushing faces. Jisoo looks at the thing in their lap that interrupts her moment with Seokjin. It's the bride's bouquet. She looks up and realizes that everyone is watching them and clapping their hands. Their friends tease them which makes her want to disappear in that spot. She turns to look at Seokjin and finds him smiling at her. She can't help but smile back at him.
She hears everyone congratulating them. She even swear she heard someone shouted, "YES, JISOO GET IT GIRL! MARRY YOUR MAN!" and she knows it's Mijoo right away.
Well, the two of them still need to talk. She hopes that her wish will come true.
