Seokjin didn't expect her to come back.

"Sir, the customer said your steak is bland," one of his waiters informed him.

Seokjin furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Never did he experienced being told that the food he'd cooked were bland. His restaurant was well-known ever since it was established three years prior. He built it from scrap, not even expecting it to hit big.

He took a fork and tasted it. When the savory flavor of the steak burst in his mouth, he scoffed and shook his head. "This is not bland. Who the hell told you my steak is bland?" he demanded.

The waiter hesitated. "U-Um.. the lady over there," he answered while pointing to a woman whose back was facing them.

Annoyance was evident in Seokjin's face as he stalked towards the table. He masked it with a polite smile when he arrived at her table.

The woman was wearing a mask and a cap, casually reading the menu.

"Excuse me, miss. I was told that you think that our steak is bland. I―"

"I'm glad that caught your attention," she cut him off. Seokjin blinked.

Her voice is familiar. Don't tell me...

The woman then removed both her cap and mask, and turned to him properly. She smiled. "Hi, Seokjin."

Some customers around them stared in awe when they saw that a famous actress was at the same restaurant as them. Some even grabbed their phones to take her picture.

Seokjin's annoyance was replaced with shock, confusion, and the inevitable longing. He put up a facade in front of her, giving her a cold look.

"Why are you here?" he asked sharply.

The woman bitterly laughed. "Is that how you talk with your customers? A minute ago, you were speaking to me with that sweet, polite voice and now―"

"It's because I didn't know it was you. If I knew beforehand, I wouldn't have spoken to you in my oh so sweet, polite voice," he replied mockingly. The woman just smiled sadly.

"That's why I said your steak was bland just to get your attention," she mumbled.

Seokjin rolled his eyes. "Jisoo, what do you want? Why are you here?"

Jisoo nervously stared at her hands. "Well, um, I'm here in town to attend an awards show. And I want to see you," she softly answered.

He scoffed, didn't believe her one bit. "Well now that you've seen me, I need to go now. I have to cook for my customers."

He was about to leave, when she suddenly gripped his arm. "You want to know what I want? To be with you again. I know I was being selfish before. I know I was not there for you. I know all I cared about was my career. I know I fucked up, but I want you to know that I regretted it all. I'm so sorry for everything I did to you. I hope you can forgive me," she said as tears were cascading down her face.

Seokjin laughed bitterly. "How amazing of an actress you are. I almost believe you."

Jisoo shook her head while still crying. "No, you don't under―"

"No, no. I completely do. You're here only because you need someone to fuck up in your sad, boring actress life. It's been three years, and it's just now that you came around. In those three years, tell me Jisoo, did you really think of me at all? No, right? So, please. Don't feed me bullshit anymore," he told her, pinning her with an angry gaze. He then turned to leave.

"No! Please! I―"

"Please, just leave me alone. I don't want to see you."

Jisoo was left with her heart broken, tears flowing, and people gossiping about her. So she put her mask and cap back―still sobbing―and left the restaurant. She turned around to look one last time and left.

I'm still in love with you.
