Seokjin didn't know why but he felt more alive during the night.
It was like every fiber, every cell in him just wake up when the sun went down.
It was a few weeks ago when everything started.
He remembered eating out with his bestfriend and felt his body itching.
"What the fuck are you doing, dude?" Jisoo, his long time bestfriend, asked as she stared at him furiously scratching his neck and arms. "You're in front of the food. Don't do that."
Still scratching, he glared at her. "I can't fucking stop. It's really itchy," he retorted.
She stared at him some more before worriedly saying, "Should we just go to the hospital? It's probably allergy. But, you're not—"
"—allergic to anything. Yes, I know," he said, annoyed while still scratching now his face.

Jisoo clicked her tongue and stood up. "Let's go. It's probably serious."
He also stood up, still scratching the hell out of his skin, but Jisoo grabbed his hand. She brought up her free hand to his face to inspect it.
"You look...fine, if not for the scratch marks, but you look alright. You don't have those small red bumps or something," she muttered.
Seokjin scoffed. "Yeah, but I feel so fucking not fine. It's so itchy, Jisoo. It won't stop," he said, irritated.
She nodded understandingly and pulled his hand. "Let's quickly go to the hospital. I don't want to see you tearing your skin down."

"Well, you have an allergic reaction to garlic. But the weird thing is you don't even have hives. Pretty odd," the doctor said, his brows furrowing.
Seokjin, now not scratching his skin because of the ointment, looked at him curiously. "Is that alarming?"
The doctor looked at him for a moment before looking down at the paper in his hand. "I just haven't encountered something like that before. But, let's wait for a few days. Just use that ointment when the allergy came up again, it will cool everything down. Don't eat food with garlic in it again."
"But, Korean food without garlic? Is there even any?"
"I don't know, Mr. Kim. But, just stay away from it."
Seokjin nodded briefly and smiled. "Thank you for treating me, Doc."
"My pleasure, Mr. Kim."
When Seokjin left the room, the doctor frowned. To him, it was odd. Really odd.
Is he...?
