"For centuries, there have been cases that proved that soulmates do exist. Some said the feeling when you finally met your soulmate is magical. They said it was like the whole universe worked so hard to bring you two together and the moment you two will meet, you'll feel belongingness, solace, and attachment towards that person. It was like you'll feel that you two are just...meant to be together. Now, there are different signs of how the person will know he/she finally meet or will meet their soulmate. Would you guys like to pitch in some ideas what are some of those?"
One young woman raised her hand. "On some cases, a date would appear on their wrists that will signify when they will meet their soulmates."
The professor softly smiled, satisfied at her answer. "That's right, Miss Lee. Anything else to— Oh, yes, Mr. Jung."
The said young man looked at his right where the said Miss Lee was seated and smiled. He then answered, "A word that their soulmate would first say when they meet would be tattooed in their upper elbow."
"Yes, that's right. Some cases even have a tattoo with a vulgar word on their elbow."
"That's true! I have a 'dickhead' tattooed on my elbow," a student voiced out causing the class to erupt in chuckles. The professor couldn't help but also chuckle at his predicament.
"I guess she's a feisty one, Mr. Kim. Good luck on that. Now, no one's gonna tell me some signs?"
A hand was hesitantly raised at the back of the auditorium. The professor smiled when he saw it.
"Great, Mr. Jeon. Glad that you're participating! What idea do you want to share?"
He was hesitant as he shyly rubbed the back of his neck. The professor looked at him with nothing but encouragement in his face.
"Um...I recently watched this movie about soulmates and they, uh, had this whole new theory or concept about soulmates."
"Okay, go on."
"Oh... um, the person would hear the sound of the bell when they pass by their soulmate," he answered, still hesitant.
His professor looked at him in confusion. "Well, that's new. I can't recall hearing or reading about that. That's probably rare."
"It's just a movie anyway. I don't think it applies in real life," he replied reluctantly.
His professor gave him a meaningful look. "Don't say that. We'll never know it'll happen to someone, anyone, or maybe to you, Jungkook."
------
"Boo!"
Jungkook stayed unbothered, not even giving a small reaction. He just gave her a small grin. "Yein, You really think I would be surprised by that?"
The said woman just rolled her eyes. "No, but it's worth a try."
"You're unbelievable," he said, shaking his head with a endeared smile gracing his face.
"You mean amazing?" she replied as she batted her eyelashes. Jungkook groaned playfully.
"Ugh, no. You're terrible."
Yein chuckled softly at his statement. "Aww, you're lying. I know you think I'm amazing. You're basically in love with me," she jokingly said.
Jungkook froze, caught off guard by her words. Noticing this, Yein looked at him with wide eyes.
"Y-You're not, right?"
He coughed awkwardly. "Um, n-no, of course not. You're my b-best friend. That would be weird."
