Two years.

It's been two years. Two years since she left him. Two years since he screwed up. Since the both of them screwed up. Two years since his heart got broken.

It's been two years but Seokjin still couldn't move on. He still couldn't stop the ache in his heart. He couldn't stop the pain and the longing.

But, he could live. He should because that was what she wanted. He hoped she forgave him.

Even though the longing for her was consuming him, he still went on with his life. Even if life wasn't great anymore. She  certainly was his sunlight.

His one and only.

Travelling to other countries is what Seokjin sometimes despise. It tires him. Although the places he went to for business were amazing, he couldn't even enjoy them because of meetings, conference, and because he didn't feel like enjoying them without her.

Malta was different. Seokjin didn't know why, but he felt like Malta would be different. He could feel it. Something was different with Malta.

After meeting with the investors, Seokjin wanted to go back to the hotel. As he observe the scene outside the car, something caught his attention. Someone.

He hurriedly ordered his driver to stop the car and got out.

There she was, in a white dress and a bouquet in her hands, looking ethereal. Seokjin stood there at his spot, enthralled at her beauty. She really was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen.

Suddenly, he forgot what she did to him. He forgot the pain. He forgot the betrayal. He forgot everything around him.

All he thought about was how beautiful she was. How he still loved him even after these years. She drove him crazy, that's for sure. And that's okay to him as long as she's in his life.

He didn't care about anything and everything. He just wanted her. He needed her. He loved her.

With the courage left in him, he walked towards the facade of the prestigious cathedral. Something about the fact that she was wearing a white dress, a bouquet in here delicate hands in front of the cathedral made him stop.

Is she getting married? Am I too late? Should I just go back?

But, Seokjin waved all of these thoughts away and continued to walk towards her.

Finally, I found her.

Ten steps.

He didn't care if she was probably getting married.

Six steps.

All he wanted was for her to hear how he felt. That he forgave her.

Three steps.

And that...

Stop.

"Jisoo."

The woman looked at him upon hearing him call her name. She gasped, her eyes widening at the man in front of her.

"S-Seokjin," she breathed. Tears were welling up in her eyes. She couldn't believe this.

He's here.

Seokjin felt his eyes watering too, but he held it in. He didn't want to break down in front of her. He thought he would look pathetic to her.

He took a deep breath. Suddenly, he forgot everything he wanted to say to her. The words he practiced long before were gone. Just like that.
