"Beautiful."
Sujeong managed to gasp out as she stood in front of St. Mark's Basilica. She quickly grabbed her film camera and took pictures before going inside.
Inside, she tried so hard not to look so shocked by the beauty of the cathedral. Her mouth was gaping as her eyes took in everything. She took shots of the cathedral's interior before leaving.
She then went to the famous St. Mark's Square to visit shops. She sat outside the café with her latte and castagnole as she captured the view before her.
It was when she was admiring an artwork she saw in the piazza when her eyes saw someone familiar.
"Taehyung?" she mused to herself when the figure disappeared through the crowd.
Her brows scrunched. Was that really him? Or just a figment of her imagination?
She quickly shook her head before moving forward.

It was her second day in Venice when she decided to try sailing through the Grand Canal.
She was joined by a group of tourists as they enjoyed the sight. Sujeong smiled widely as she captured the beauty of the places around her.
Settling in her seat, she suddenly realized that there are two couples in front of her in the boat and she was the only one who was alone. Memories of her past relationship fogged in her mind. She grumbled, taking her camera once again and took more pictures.
Sujeong, who was an art lover, wanted to visit Galleria dell' Accademia wherein the collection of pre-19th century or the Renaissance art situated. She softly squealed when she finally got inside as she saw different masterpieces. She was admiring a painting by Viviano Codazzi when a figure caught her eye.
She turned around to see Taehyung walking towards the exit of the building, seemingly disturbed and...was that anger on his face?
Sujeong debated whether or not to call him, because she was perhaps shy and afraid that he might've forgotten her. She knew it was really him. He was wearing a brown polo, a beret on his head, and his Burberry bag. The same thick eyebrows and his beautiful pointed nose, it was really him.
She couldn't call him when he disappeared once again from her sight. Sighing, she resumed focusing on the paintings in front of her.
"Ah, I'm so full," she muttered to herself while walking down the beautiful night street. She just had the most amazing risotto in her whole life and she couldn't be any happier.
She turned to look at the people around her. There was a family who was laughing to an inside joke. A young couple―probably a newlywed one, she concluded when she saw their ring― grinning at each other as they drank their espressos. A group of friends who were taking a group photo, wide smiles adoring their faces.
At that moment, Sujeong realized she was all alone. She felt lonely. She was there to enjoy her vacation, to heal her broken heart but she knew she was not even satisfied. She felt empty after witnessing those people passing by.
A murmur of voices in the dark alleyway disrupted her thoughts. She stared at it before unconsciously walking towards it. She knew it would be dangerous, she was a tourist and she didn't know much about the place and the people in it.
She carefully walked down the dark alley, trying so hard not to make any sound. The voices had gotten louder as she came closer.
"Dios mio! Signore, I told you I didn't do it!" the voice yelled.
She heard a dark chuckle.
"Shut up! If you didn't, then what can you tell me about this?" another voice spoke, but it was a rather deep accented voice―not an Italian one at that.
Sujeong nervously hid. There was a pause before the first voice cursed.
"Cazzo! Bene, I did those things, but you'll understand why I did―" he couldn't finish what he was saying when something cut him off.
Sujeong stilled, sweating in fear. She suddenly thought this was a bad idea.
A moment of silence was enveloping the dark end of the alley. Sujeong did the dumbest thing ever as her curiosity got in the way.
She peeked her head a little to see who the man was.
Her eyes widen at what she saw.
A dead man wearing a suit was lying on the ground, his blood surrounding him. Over him was a man clad in a black and white suit and a gun was held in his large hand as he stared below at his victim with a smirk.
She brought a hand on his mouth, wanting to silence her screams. Whispering to herself, "T-Taehyung?"
