"So, it's my fault again, huh?"

Seokjin feels his blood boiling as his younger member spills those words. He tries to calm himself down as he doesn't want to anger him more. "Taehyung, I don't want to fight right now. It's not your—"

"Well it is. It always is. Don't bother denying it. I'm always the one who fucks everything up, right?" he retorts, sarcasm and anger dipping through his voice.

It is only the two of them inside the practice room, leaving no member to stand between them. Seokjin sighs loudly, trying so hard to hide his frustration and anger.

Taehyung stills in his place, his eyes teary with frustration. "You don't know how pressured I am—"

"You think you are the only one?"

The moment he said those words, he regrets it.

"I know you're also pressured, hyung! All of us are. I just want you to work harder and practice harder."

"I am! I'm fucking practicing so hard every single day—not even bothering eating sometimes. You don't know how hard I'm trying!"

"Well, try harder! This comeback is fucking important and you're right there fucking everything up!"

The moment those words escape from his mouth, Taehyung regrets it. He opens his mouth to reason out, but nothing comes out.

Seokjin looks at him for a bit before looking down at the ground, chuckling dryly. "I already know this."

"No, hyung. I—"

"No. It's not your fault. It's mine. I should've practiced harder because the comeback is coming so soon. I'm sorry if I hurt you with my actions earlier. Don't worry, I won't fuck everything up... again. " he calmly tells him without sparing him any glance before walking out of the room.

Seokjin quickly walk towards the garage, not even glancing to his members who are chilling and recording in the studio. He then bows to their manager before taking the keys from him and drive to his own apartment. He needs to think about everything and give Taehyung space.

When he arrives at his apartment, he still feels the pain in his chest. He didn't expect Taehyung to say those words to him. After years of being brothers, he never thought he would say something like that to him. Something painful.

He is lying on his bed alone and lonely when his phone rings again. He's been avoiding their calls for the past hour, not even bothering to reply to them. He just wants space.

But when he glances at his phone, he quickly snatches it from his night stand. He slides the answer button.

"Hey."

"Kim Seokjin! Where are you? Are you okay?" the caller asks worriedly.

Seokjin softly smiles. "I am. Why are you asking?"

"Well, Jimin called me a few minutes ago—asking if you're here with me. What happened?"

"Oh, nothing. I'm just...fine."

"Seokjin, don't lie to me. I know you're not okay. Do you want me to accompany you?"

"Jisoo, don't worry. I'm fine, okay? I'll just tell you tomorrow. I'll call you first thing in the morning," he assures her softly.

Jisoo sighs, saying, "You better. I'm going nuts here. Just rest, okay? Don't push yourself too hard."

"You sound like my girlfriend right now," he teases.
