Richie looked sadly through the window at his dad who threw some mold into his pit. 

"Mommy, why can't it stay? I wouldn't have hurt Eddie with it" Richie pouted and turned to his mom who was reading a book on the arm chair. 

"Because Ms Kaspbrak doesn't want his son near that...I'm sorry that she had to make such a big deal out of it. You can dig a hole to grandma's house. How's that sound?" 

"I guess...." Richie shrugged and walked to the front door. "I'm going out mommy" 

"Did you just call me mommy?" his mother chuckled a bit. 

"Sorry, mom. Eddie says it so much...." Richie blushed and pulled on his shoes. He ran out of the door to his dad, who was wiping the sweat out of his forehead. 

"Dad, is it filled now? Can I go play with Eddie? Can I see him now?" Richie asked. 

Went looked down at his son and murmured something like 'damn kid'. 

"Yes, go ahead. But promise me not to dig any fuck- frigging holes for me to fill them up" his dad said sharply. 

Richie flinched a bit. "Okay...I'm sorry dad" 

Went sighed and let out a chuckle. He ruffled Richie's already a bit greasy hair, since he hadn't take a bath in a while. "Go on now...I'll even the ground here" 

Richie grinned and gave his dad a high-five. He ran to the fence where it was broken and crawled under it. He stumbled to the Kaspbrak house and knocked on the door. 

He was soon faced with Sonia Kaspbrak, who didn't look so pleased. But she couldn't yell to a child. Even Sonia wasn't that heartless. 

"Richie. What are you doing here?" she asked emotionless. 

"The pit is filled! Can I see Eddie?" richie asked excitedly. 

Sonia sighed loudly and walked to the porch, to see the Tozier's backyard. She saw Went tapping the ground with a shovel. 

Sophia grunted quietly and turned to Richie, who was peeking in to the house. 

"Fine. Play nice and don't get Eddie into trouble" 

"I won't! I'd never do that! Eddie's like my brother!" Richie jumped up and down. 

"Thank god he isn't" Sophia mumbled to herself and walked back in. "EDDIE BEAR! YOU HAVE VISITORS!" 

Soon, steps were walking down the stairs. Eddie appeared to the door and gasped as he saw Richie. "RICH!" 

Richie let Eddie come and hug him. 

Sonia glanced at the two hesitantly before tapping Eddie's shoulder. 

Eddie turned to face her and lifted his other eyebrow. "Yes, mommy?" 

"Play nice and remembered to come and drink at some point. It's a hot day. You know how bad you'll get without hydration"
