the seven kids were walking down the forest pathway towards the camping area, mike leading the whole group, bev and bev walking after him, stan and bill after them and richie and eddie in the end.

richie was every once in a while whispering sweet nothings into eddie's ear, the smaller one giggling quietly and pressing his ear against his shoulder, where richie was whispering, due to the fact that the raven haired beauty's hot breath tickled his ear.

ever since monday, the two had spent every second with each other. well, almost. even though sonia had stopped trying to stop richie and eddie from being with each other, she didn't want eddie having someone over night on a school night, neither going to someone's place on a school night.

so minus the nights and also the classes which weren't the same, richie and eddie were together and brushing hands together.

"it's such a great weather" mike smiled and inhaled the sweet smell of fall and the colorful leaves.

"this was such a great idea" bev tapped mike's shoulder. "we never go out like this anymore"

eddie glanced at richie, who was trying to hold eddie's hand, but the other pulled his hand away. richie looked down and frowned. eddie shook his head, a little smirk on his lips.

"c'mon, eds. no one will see" richie whispered.

"no, we're not taking chances" eddie shook his head.

"literally, what's the difference now than it was five years ago?" richie asked, while slowing down.

eddie didn't reply, he just gripped his bag tighter and smiled at richie.

so, the boy with the glasses, ran up behind eddie, wrapping his arms around his torso, lifting him off the ground and spinning him around. he pressed his lips against eddie's cheek. "you're such a tease to me, eds! you have no idea what it's like being with you"

eddie giggled. "put me down"

the others looked over their shoulder, but not for long, since this was typical richie and eddie. so they continued walking towards the camping area, which was getting close.

"not before you let me hold your hand" richie kept kissing eddie's cheek from behind him, while holding eddie up.

"I'll let you hold it when it's just the two of us" eddie laughed. "please rich, put me down"

richie seemed to satisfy to this reply and put eddie down. he spun eddie around so that eddie was now looking at him. richie put his hands on eddie's shoulder and smiled fondly down at eddie.

"what now?" eddie tilted his head.

"god you just...wow you are beautiful" richie let out a breath, making eddie roll his eyes and look away.

"so beautiful" richie murmured before kissing eddie lightly on the lips. this caught eddie off guard, since the last time they had kissed on the lips were in eddie's kitchen, properly making out.

but this kiss, it was soft, gentle and loving. the kisses on saturday was hungry and urgent, but these kinds of kisses, eddie could get used to. richie's lips felt really good against his.
