november age 13

eddie found himself staring at the male model magazines once again. thoughts were flying through his head, too fast for eddie to caught one and get into it. he traced his fingers against the cover, sighing. he leaned his head against the wall in the closet. he didn't know why he felt like this.

"eddie! dinner's ready" sonia yelled from the kitchen. eddie flinched and hid the magazines in a box, what he shoved in the back of the closet. he ran to the kitchen, sitting down on the table.

"I'm sorry I was busy on your birthday, baby. would you like to do something today?" sonia asked and sat in front of eddie, placing their plates down full of spaghetti and meatballs. (a/n hehe)

"no, it's okay. I'm going to hang out with richie and the others" eddie shrugged.

"where are you going?" sonia asked.

"either bill or richie's place" eddie said. "don't worry, we'll be nice"

"i'm just worried about you" sonia sighed.

"I'm not a little baby anymore" eddie chuckled.

"you're my little baby" sonia pinched eddie's cheek, where the boy replied with a giggle. "stop"

"just be careful, especially around richie"

eddie frowned. "why richie?"

"he's not exactly from the nicest end"

"that's because you haven't seen him at his best" eddie pointed out. sonia looked hesitantly at eddie, until nodding. "don't go around and do anything stupid, alright?"

"i won't" eddie shook his head.

"party time!" richie exclaimed.

"shut up richie" stan murmured as the four boys were getting closer to school.

"the ninth graders are hosting a disco! we can't miss an opportunity like this" richie squealed as he opened the doors into the dark hallways. "it's like prom but not"

the music flew around the hallways, inviting the boys to the gym.

"momma would freak out if she knew I was here" eddie sighed uncomfortably.

"hey what's the worst thing that can happen?" richie flung an arm around eddie's shoulders.

"we could get roofied, kidnapped, raped, killed, buried, forgotten" stan said, where bill answered with a shove on the rib. "stuh-stan"

"oh god" eddie groaned.

"stan is just being a bitch. don't worry" richie rubbed eddie's shoulder before letting go and opening the gym doors, bring and colorful lights around the gym. teens from age 12 to 16 were dancing and drinking.

"this is so awesome" richie exhaled.

bill slightly clutched onto the sleeve of stan's sweater, making the taller one looke down at the boy who looked hesitantly around. "what is it?"
