richie set his suitcase on the floor and looked around the room, shrugging. it wasn't as bad as he had expected. the room was lighted with two big windows. the walls were white, just like the floor. there was a singular bed in the middle of the room, right between the windows. there were two cabinets right besides the door on both sides. there was also a small table and a chair in the room, near the left window.

and the view was pretty.

"so, richie. how do you like it?" the assistant who had brought richie into his room, asked. richie looked over at the redhaired girl who was pushing the curtains aside from the windows. "is it good? do you think you can make this your home for a second?"

"how long exactly?" richie asked, walking deeper into the room.

"it depends on you. how fast you'll feel better" the girl smiled.

"what am I supposed to do in here?" richie asked, chuckling a bit and putting his suitcase on the bed.

"well you'll be spending most of your day in the lounge and in the therapist. also since you're missing school, you'll be having periods of school too. but there's plenty of free time too, so you don't have to worry about that"

"a therapist? i'm not crazy, you know" richie lifted a brow. "why can't you just give me some drug to fix my anger issues?"

"it's not that simple, richie. see, we're not offering the medicine straight away. we're trying our best to get deep in the cause of your anger and you'll be talking to your therapist, for starters, three times a week. when we had tried out therapist, we'll be ordering you some pills, which will ease the anger. but those are absolutely the last option. before that, we're training you to control your anger" the redhead explained.

"uh-huh...and let's say i'm pretty fast to learn this stuff, when will I get back home?"

"in about two, maybe three months. but like I said, it's up to you" the girl smiled brightly. "and if there's anything you need, i'll be right down the hallway. i'm lydia"

"yeah, i saw your name tag" richie nodded towards the small name tag on lydia's chest.

"ah, right. well, you just get comfortable and make this your home, okay? and you can join the lounge when you're ready"

"and where the fuck is the lounge?" richie sighed.

"i'm gonna stop you right there. no swearing" lydia pointed out. "the lounge is just down the hall right pass my office and to the right"

richie nodded, rolling his eyes a bit at the annoyingly sweet character of lydia.

"oh and I do need to mention that there's also a mental hospital in the same building."

"what?!" richie almost choked on his spit. "i'm in a building with crazy people?! what the ff-- fun?"

"don't you worry about that. they aren't crazy crazy, they're just young teens with some problems. they're not mumbling on their own or anything like that. some of them are just depressed or their parents had their own reasons to bring their child in here. we're sharing the same lounge. don't worry, richie, they're not gonna hurt you"
