Five Years

FIVE YEARS LATER:

I put clothes on and went to buy something in the store. I now moved to Los Angeles and I'm living a happy life all alone. Tomorrow, I was going to visit all father, my siblings and Mariel tomorrow.

It was Mariel's birthday and she said she wants me there, so that's the only reason I'm going to be there.
I left all of those things behind only... Only because of him.

Anyways, I went to the store and bought a lot of candies and presents for Mariel. She really deserved it.

As I pulled up to the house, I felt shivers going down my spine for some reason. I guess it was hard when you come back to the place you grew up at.

As I walked up to house and rang the doorbell, little girl opened the doors. My Mariel
"Aunty" she yelled as she jumped into my arms.

I hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.
"Oh my god, look at my little girl. All grown up" I mumbled as I smiled.

"Amanda!" I heard yelling and I looked up to see Ray and Amalia running out.

"Guys!!" I yelled in joy as I jumped into Ray's arms first. He hugged me tightly and then it was Malia's turn.

She hugged me even tighter than Ray, making me gasp for air

"O-okay, you c-can let me g-go now" I fake coughed, making her laugh.

"Come in, I want you to meet someone"  Ray said and literally pulled me inside.

I saw a lot if familiar people in the living room and I hugged them all, including my father
"Aw, my little girl came. I didn't think you will come after... Well, you know" he said, making me frown

"Yeah, well... I'm here now!" I faked a laugh and got called again by Ray.

When I walked up to him, I saw that a girl was right next to him, hugging him. It took me few seconds before I gasped
"Is this who I think it is?" I squealed as I jumped up and down.

"Amanda, meet my mate... Amelia" he said and at when he finished with talking, I threw myself at her. She laughed and hugged back

"Welcome to the family Amelia. But I have to say... Good luck" I pointed at Ray, getting a laugh from her and a scold from him.
What a cute family we are.

"Aunty! I'm going to blow candles! Come here!" I could hear high pitched voice yell. I turned around to see Mariel with her birthday hat.
She took my hand and led me to the table where the candles were.

"Happy birthday Mariel!!" We all yelled as she blew her five little candles. Malia took a picture of her and now was turn for family tradition.

Kid's grandfather would come in and fed her cake. He stepped in and Mariel hugged him tight. He took a plate with a cake in it and fed her with his shaly hands. Everyone could tell that he was nervous. His grandchild was slowly growing up and he wasn't too thrilled about it.

The party was over and Mariel was long asleep now. I walked to my room and when I walked in, I saw that there was everything how I left it.
My old phone was still on charging, curtains were ripped down and the carpet was still stained with my makeup stains that I left the night I was about to leave.

Same thing for my bathroom and my closet.
On the end of a little room tour, I decided that I'm going to take a shower and change into some pajamas. I'm sure I still have those in my closet.

Anyways, I'm going to post one more chapter for this night and I'm off to sleep because I have school tomorrow!
