I didn't open my eyes, hoping that the warm sunrays would wake me up, force me lift up my eyelids but what I experienced after being awake for about five minutes but not wanting to open my eyes is that there must be no light outside. The person being I am, I am still terrified of darkness, which is agitating me to open my eyes so that I won't see something horrifying. Still sticking to my remark and not opening my eyes became boring for me after a few minutes. So, I abruptly fished these thoughts out of my mind and decided to open my eyes after approximately 5 seconds.

1,2,3,4,5, GO!

I shot my eyes open, my lashes barely touching my skin. Instead of being greeted by endless darkness, I was greeted by a mysterious creature in front of my face. If it wasn't for the big tree above me illuminating the sunlight, I could've made out what this creature was. As much as shocked I am, I didn't want to shock the creature which prevented me from pushing it and making my way to stand up. But, just a little movement from it was enough to make me regret my decision. Just as it moved it's tail, I widened my eyes and quickly sat up, shocking the creature. The creature backed away, but paused and then it started to come towards me. I backed away, it still continued to come towards me, I backed away again and again until the sunlight was finally visible through my eyes. The creature suddenly jumped on my lap, terrifying the hell out of me, but I didn't let it show on my face. As I looked closely, it was a,

Koala?

His arms were crossed and his expression was terribly funny. He murmured something under his breath and looked at me with squinted eyes. It came closer and uh, why is it not gray? Aren't koalas supposed to sleep?

He yelled something that I didn't catch. He yelled again, causing me to flinch. He said what's my name? strange, how do I understand this thing?

"Aera! Are you there?" I could hear a female voice yelling. Must be Rie. The koala snapped at me, gaining my attention that I unknowingly kept to myself. Wait, snapped at me?

I looked at it with squinted eyes, which he returned by squinting his eyes as well. He again asked me, who are you? How can I understand this pscpfjpsy language?

"A-Aera." I answered and this time, he was the one who's eyes widened. Suddenly, he jumped off my lap and stood beside me, arms still crossed. Cute. He looked so cute that I couldn't resist myself from patting his head and smiling widely. He quickly turned his head towards me with a shocked expression. Suddenly, he unfolded his arms and looked down at the grass and started rocking his intertwined hands as if,

He's shy?

I looked at it with furrowed brows, what the hell?

"Oh Aera, you're here. Why-Ahhhhhhh!!!" Rie screamed, looking at the creature with fear.

The koala stood in a fighting stance in front of me as if he wants to protect me. I patted his head again and gently placed him on my lap by lifting him by his arms. He turned into a fluffy ball on my lap. He was so shy, he didn't even look at me. if it isn't my hallucination, isn't he blushing? His fur is getting pink?

"What the #$%&%$ hell is this?" Rie screamed with her left hand pointing at the creature.

"This is..um..i don't know, maybe a koala? But don't worry, it's harmless." I said, smiling.

"Huh?" she said, calming down a bit.

"Where are the others?" I asked. The koala finally took a glance at me and hid face at the instant.

"I found Celestia and she is over there. Come with me." She said, pointing at god knows where. I got up taking the koala's arms with my hands and I placed him on my shoulder. I could feel the softness of his fur against my skin. He slipped a bit at first but gained balance by gripping onto my jacket. I looked at him smiled, "By the way, you don't have a family? Let me drop you there." I said which saddened him a bit. And he started to play with his fingers along with shaking his head as a 'no'. I felt pity for him. It wouldn't be bad if I take him, right?
