Let me disengage,
I'll cut the wires again,
Bloody messes
Of electricity.
Reality is distant,
Nothing all too real,
Nothing to worry of-
No surface smiles
And hidden tension,
No heat branding my bones,
No sores in my mouth
From demanding
What I don't get.
No you,
Perhaps.

Thrown back into the ring,
And I change my sheets today,
Maybe to commemorate
What change lies ahead,
And how walls might morph
Into something new,
Soon, and maybe this weird relationship we have,
I'm not ready to stop it.
It's not like I've appreciated you
Thus far,
But to let go,
I can't do it.
I know it sounds so complicated
But I wish you and I were that easy,
As simple as switching bedsheets,
And making due with circumstance.
As easy as gray walls and fresh paint.

I'm searching for connection
And I find it,
The sparks in my teeth
Are everything I can't speak of-
I consider your image quite heavily.
I tell myself
I don't need somebody who-
But I have to stop there.
Conclusions would be jumped
And it's not as bad as it would seem,
I just know right from wrong,
Although I rarely follow their lead.

Little bits of snow blow in the wind,
February is so good to me.
I think I'm ready for change,
And maybe it's not about finding ties,
It's about cutting them.
Or maybe even,
Remembering what they once held together,
And how those things
Are now being pulled in new directions.

Strange how this has an electricity vibe and it's 111, and you use 1s and 0s in coding?? Coincidence I think fucking not
