Justin's POV
I watched the nurse unplug every last machine and then she helped me into a wheelchair. My mom wheeled me out to the car and then helped me in.
"You can stay at my place while you rest up." Mom said as she started the car.
I called Shawna.
"Hey babe." She answered cheerfully.
"Hello!" I said
"How are you doing today?"
"I'm better, I'm going to spend some time at my Mom's place."
"That's good. So that means you're in Atlanta?"
"Yeah, where are you headed today?"
"Oregon," she said. "How long until I see you?"
"3 more weeks!"
"Yay, well it's time for soundcheck. I love you, see you soon."
"Love you too babe. See you soon!" I hung up.
Mom drove to her house, Christian and his mom were there.
"Bro I missed you!" Christian hugged me.
"I missed you too!" I got out of the car and grabbed my crutches.
"Need any help?" He asked.
"I'm good," I smiled politely.
We went inside and I went up to my room. Christian came with.
"How's life?" He sat down on my bed.
"It's really good, Shawna is on tour. My first single comes out in 2 weeks. We're getting married in July. Life can't get much better." I sat down on my bed.
"That's great bro. So I have a girlfriend." He got excited.
"Aw little Christian, what's her name?"
"Her name is Shai."
"Pretty," I chuckled a little.
"She's great bro, she's a model."
"Oh damn."
"Right?!" He laughed.
"Wanna play some Xbox?" I asked.
"Yeah," he got up and grabbed the controllers.
He gave me one and then sat back down. We played for a few hours. Christian's phone vibrated and he looked at it, "can Shai come over here?"
"Uh sure!" I said.
"Okay!" He picked up his phone and started texting her.
After a few minutes he set his phone down. "She'll be here in about 15 minutes."
"Great, can you go tell my mom?" I asked him.
"Sure." He got up and went downstairs.
About 5 minutes later he came back in. I got up from the floor and hopped over to my bathroom where I looked in the mirror. My lip wasn't swollen anymore and the purpleness in the bruises above my eyes had gone away slowly.
"She's here!" Christian got excited and ran downstairs.
I heard the front door open and then my mom's sweet voice introduce herself. I heard footsteps coming upstairs and soon Shai and Christian were back in my room.
"Hi, I'm Justin." I shook her hand.
"I know who you are," She smiled. "Are you okay?" She looked down at my leg.
