I got home. Mom wasn't here. She must  be working late again. I head straight to my room and grab the next set of tapes to switch. I flip the current cassette and place it back in. I check the map. There was red X' and blue circles marking some places. I should head to the next one she mentions. If she does. All the rest was in middle school. Why didn't that school do anything? Scratch that, I'd rather visit back that world Nevada showed me. The question is: is it granted all the time? I sit on my bed. I was tempted. I am. Something taps my window. I look to see. It was a white cat outside from my window looking in. Looking at me. Brown eyes. It tilts its head. Its eyes, it was..calming and seem to talk. The cat places a paw onto the window. Its tail beckons me. Am I really going to follow a cat's orders?
I get up from the bed setting everything down.
Yes.
Because I'm a idiot who needs answers. And I'll do anything for them.
I walk up to my window. I place a finger to the cat's paw through the window. "What do you want little fella?" I question. The cat slowly closes its eyes and nods its head slowly. Nothing. The cat looks behind me. It walks away. Out of my sight from outside. What did I think was gonna happen? Something magical? Something going to come by and slap me in the face? Or maybe it's because I don't speak cat. OK, I'm stupid for asking that. I sit back on my bed. I want to see Rikkun. And I will. I do the hand movements Nevada showed me. Hopefully I will be right where I was left at. However this thing works.
My eyes close.

I wake up, sitting against a tree. It was dark. Just like in real time. Maybe this is real? Or something. Same black outfit. Crickets are hearable. And it's cold. I get up and walk around. Where to? I don't know. Maybe I am losing it..

It's too dark. And I feel like I'm walking on something soft and crunch-like. Sand maybe? Really bad dirt?

It's really cold. Freezing cold.

I trip over something and land on my front. "Ouch.." I look back and blindly move my hand around to feel whatever I tripped over. A flashlight. It still had some juice. I turn it on.

Snow was everywhere. No wonder it was so cold. It still is. How does Rikkun like this? Nevada said its her world. So maybe her imagination?

Light bulb.

At the same time it's a bad idea. Or maybe I'm just a bad idea. I get back up and continue walking around.

"Open the gates of hell, stupid demon!"

"You're adopted."

Where are the voices coming from?

A small red bricked house I'm able to see in the distance is near. I walk around the wired fence. Low growling is heard. It made me uncomfortable. I turn to see.
Black pitbull.
"Oh shit.." I take a step back. It starts to run at me. "Nope! No no no!" I run towards the front door. It was open. Thank god.

I slam the door and held it shut. The dog was barking from outside. Growling and snarling. It was trying to break the door down. I pant. This is not fun anymore! I grab a chair and place it to the door blocking it. The dog gives up. I think it left. I take a breath in and out.

"Oh, it's you."

I turn behind me. No one. "Hello?" I blindly ask.

"Hello again," whispers into my ear. I move away looking around. "Where are you?"

"Over here."

I look over to the hall where the kitchen and rooms are. The whole house was empty and gave a bad vibe. Boxes where everywhere. A figure walks into one of the rooms. I follow.

The room was small and empty.

"You're pretty slow. But thats okay." It whispers, "I like playing games with you."

I turn around, "Yeah well, I don't. I don't even know who you are.."

"I do."

"Can you come out?"

"So demanding."

The door creaks and closes. Lock. The window opens and quickly closes. I couldn't see what came in, or out. I turn the flashlight back on.

"Aah!!" I screamed falling back.

The white wolf stands near me. "Sorry," it barked.
I groaned. My head hit the back of the door, "I need answers.." I said weakly. I sat up rubbing the back of my head. Rikkun lowers her head and ears. Her eyes soften. "Rikkun, where are you? Like, I want to see you again."

"I wish not to speak of that."

"And why not?"

She doesn't answer. "Well, why did you make the tapes?"

"I'm just, I don't know, giving up."
"Giving up what?"
Rikkun lays down and covers hear eyes with her paws, "Myself."

"No-"

She snaps. Jumping right back up, "No nothing!" Her fangs show as she growls, "Don't give me that sweet talk!" She shakes her head, "I-I don't need to be here. I mean, I can't take this." She backs away. "It's okay. You didn't believe me anyways, did you?" She sits and lets her hind leg scratch her neck.

"Rikkun, what's wrong? Please."

She stops. Her eyes give a good look at me. "You didn't finish." She walks near the window.

"No, Rikkun don't please!" I said getting up.

She turns, "I'm not stupid, Clay. You just haven't figured it out. You should be out of here. Quick. Before they come. They'll tear my old home apart."

"Whose they?"

"Hurry!" Rikkun disappears into thin air.

I start running out the house through the back door. My ears were ringing. My head hurts like the living hell. I jump over the tall fence.

I fell on my side. A chainsaw is hear faintly. I run as far as I can. What the hell is going on in this world? I don't like riddles and games. I'm going insane..

What does this all mean?
