"Clay!"
I know that voice. It terrified me too. I look to see my mom in her car. "Is that your-" I cut Miguel off, "Yeah.." My fear had risen. She must've texted and called me the whole time, but that man had crushed my phone. How was I going to tell her? I'm doomed any way. "..Raye.." Miguel murmured under his breath. I look to him. He knew. He figured it out. Where do I run now? What do I say? He turns to me, "Come with me."
"What?" I said. I hear my mom yell at me.

"Come with me! Rere wouldn't want this."
"I can't do anything-"

He punched the side of my face. I end up bitting my lower lip it cuts through and bleeds a little.

"That was for Rere, dumbass! I bet she'd do the same. Now come on! We have business to attend to." He grabs my arm and takes me, "Your mom can wait."

"No she can't! You don't understand-"

"I do understand! That's why I ran away!" He grabs a nearby bike and hops on, "Get on." I step on the outer steel poles on the back and hold onto his shoulders. "Where are we even going?" I ask as he takes off. My face hurts. "Her hiding place."

Miguel knew more than I did. I look behind to see my mom. Her eyes with anger. She had her phone to her ear. "You're free, Clay. You're one of us. Bird her," Miguel tells me.

"She's still my mom, I can't-"

"Pussy."

"No you."

"Do you want to move away?"
"No..wait, how did you-"
"I guessed. My mom and yours are practically the same. They can't handle their own problems or want us in relationships, so they force us to move."
"My mom liked Rikkun."
"Liked." Miguel said sarcastically, "Rere was never a fighting type. She wasn't threatening when we were together. I remember when my mom came to my room she asked if I was still with that girl. She meant Rere. Rere had overheard and must've felt so bad and depressed and told me through the mic: I can't handle this, I'm sorry. Then she turned off her system. I could've comfort her, but my mom held me back."

"Do you know anything about her mom?" I ask.

"Her mom was amazing. She helped me coped with alot of things. So did Rere. Rere helped me with my depression. She never left me, but she did gave me time. Her mom was the type to love everyone and forgive. She was like my mom. She jokes, she cared, she'd help in anyway she could. She'd tell everyone the truth even if it was hard to hear. She's like this future teller or something."

"I noticed. Where is she now?"

"No clue. She just suddenly left."

"Oh." Maybe he didn't know everything like I thought he would.

We stopped under a highway bridge. He led my to the intersection on under the road and up the steep. He presses down on a dark gray concrete block and takes some parts out. A hole led down. "Well, slide in." I place my legs in first. "Oh, by the way you might want to tuck and cover the second you see a bright yellow light."
"Wait wha-"
Miguel pushes me down.

It was like a slide, but with big bumps of rocks. Graffiti was everywhere. Small lights hung above me. Zoomed by to quick it looked like a roller coaster.

"Wohoo!" I heard Miguel cry out in excitement. It echoed.

I kept my eyes open for the yellow light. But the air seem to attack my face.

Yellow light!

I pulled my knees up, ready and set for whatever I was going to hit!
I close my eyes.

Thud!

I tumbled and rolled into a wall of pillows. The floor was covered of thick blankets. "Ouch.." my back hit first. My legs fall out in front of my now upside down body.
Miguel rolls into his stomach, face barely hitting the pillows. "Fun, huh?"
"Not really."
