I placed the cotton ball covered with alcohol to heal her wounds. Beginning from her shoulder. I lower down her shirt to view it. "You don't have to, Clay." She says softly. I shake my head and place the cotton ball lightly on her skin. She flinches a little. "I know it stings, but it helps." "Your way of healing never seems to amaze me."
Course it doesn't. When I first told her about this small trick, she never understood it. She told me she just covered it up or leave it as it was if it was just a tiny cut. Wash it away with water. Which isn't bad, but things can happen if your not careful.
"I'll pay you back- when I have the money."
"Don't worry about it. You just came back from the spirit world, dead world."
"But..you already did so much."
I go to place the cotton ball on her arm. "You did always tell me to follow what was right for me."She looks away. Her ears were pink. "I missed you, alot."
"I missed you too," She shyly said, "And not to be rude or creepy, but I've been watching over you."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You really do make a funny detective."
I smile. After cleaning her wounds I let her lay on the bed. I threw away the faded blood cotton balls. "I have to tell you something Rikkun."
"Yes?"
I turn to look at her. "That Mary girl. She used your body. She looked exactly like you."
Rikkun sits up, "Huh?"I take a big gulp.
"I ..kissed her thinking it was you.." I look her in the eyes, "I'm sorry. I didn't know it was her at all."
Rikkun looked a little sad from hearing it. Not disgusted or how'd they react before they slapped you. I was ready for the biggest slap of my life anyways. I was ready for the hit.
She didn't hit me. Not even a punch. Or kick.
Her stare was unknown. Couldn't make it out. She goes back to laying down.
"Rikkun, I'm sorry?" I sit next to her.
I could only afford one room anyways. So we'd have to share the big bed. "I guess I'm just jealous.." she says lowly. I lay next to her, "It's OK to be a little jealous, I mean..I still," Here goes nothing. I went through everything to finally see her. Alive. "I still love you."
She turns over to me and hugs me without saying a word. My back against the wall. I stiffed up, almost covered in blush! My head up high.Gulp!
"I'm so sorry.." she weeps. "It's OK, Rikku." I brushed her hair and held her. She was tired. "I love you too..I loved you for the longest." I smile.
Poor girl, I want to take away her pain. She snuggles next to me like a cold bear. It was cute.
I kiss her forehead as she closed her brown eyes, "Goodnight Rikkun."
"Goodnight," she mumbles out, "You're still my little idiot." She goes fast asleep.
I look at my hand, the one that had injured Kai. Rikkun said I wasn't the only one. She knows something. She knows alot more than me listening to the tapes.
The tapes..
I still never finished listening to them!Wait a minute..Did Mary do the tapes or did Rikkun did?
What Mary the one who shot at the window when Rikkun was recording? My eyes felt heavy, I was too tired to think. I should sleep. Tomorrow I'd try to figure something out with Rikkun. Not only to find Mary.
Whoever she is..
