Cheater (Varchie version)

"Come on Arch, try and look a bit happier about this weekend away with Veronica and Chuck. It'll be fun, I promise." Betty said kissing Archie on the cheek.

"All ready guys?" Chuck said entering Betty's room.

"Yep, all packed!" Betty said excitedly.

Archie drove them to Veronica's family cabin in the woods. Veronica hadn't been there for years.

"So V when we get there how about we do manicures?" Betty said planning the whole trip.

"How about we get food then have an early night and then in the morning we'll do the manicures deal?" Veronica compromised.

"Yeah I agree with Ronnie." Archie interrupted. Veronica caught Archie's eyes in the mirror, things were awkward between them as they kissed in Betty's birthday party last month. They decided not tell Chuck or Betty has it would be easier to keep it as a secret.

"Umm okay sure, what we going to have for food then? I fancy seafood for dinner." Betty asked. Everyone looked in disgust.

"I fancy take out." Chuck suggested.

"Now that's what I'm talking about." Archie agreed.

"Take out it is." Veronica said.

They finally arrived at the cabin. Archie and Chuck looked in shock has they began to realise it was double of the size of their houses put together. It had 7 bedrooms, each with a ensuite, a kitchen, 3 lounges and a conservatory, finished with a huge garden with breathtaking views.

"Shut your mouths you two." Betty smirked. She continued to walk in after Veronica and decided to pick out hers and Archie's bedroom for the weekend.

"This one is mine and Chucks, so you have another six to pick from." Veronica said.

"Oh wow such little choice." Betty joked.

After everyone unpacked they all met downstairs in one of the lounges. "Okay so I think me and Ronnie should go to grab the take out as I can drive and she knows the directions. You two okay staying here for a bit?" Archie asked.

"Yeah no problem man." Chuck said whilst Betty nodded.

"Come on then Arch, we better leave before it gets dark." Veronica said.

Whilst they drove there Archie wanted to break the awkward silence.

"Look can we talk about-"

"We're here!" Veronica interrupted. Archie sighed.

They grabbed the food and paid for it, and drove back as fast as they could. All of a sudden the gas light came on.

"Will we make it?" Veronica asked.

"Yeah, I've had this car since I started learning. It's got a few miles left in her."

"It's a her?" Veronica mocked.

"Yeah... hey don't make fun. She was my first love..." Archie joked.

"Even before Betty?" Archie didn't respond.

"Wait, do you love Betty?" Veronica asked.

He hesitated just before he answered, "Of course I do." Their conversation got stopped by the car stopping completely.

"Oh shit!" Archie said.

"I knew it!" Veronica said. She grabbed her phone and rang Betty.

"Hey Betty, look we broke down could you call a taxi, we're only a few blocks away from you."

"You guys okay?"

"Yeah we're fine. Just call a cab."

"Okay sure no problem."

"Taxis on the way, and in the meantime we will wait here and I guess just talk." Veronica said.

"There is something I wanna talk to you about." Archie said.

"Go ahead."

"Remember when we kissed?"

"Archie-"

"No let me finish, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I think I'm falling for you Ronnie." Archie said, straight to the point. Veronica didn't say anything.

"Archie are you delusional? Betty is my best friend! I could never betray her like that!" Veronica said.

"You can't sit there and say that you didn't feel anything about me after that night?" Archie said.

"Okay fine, I couldn't stop thinking about either, but we have to! We're both in relationships with amazing people, we can't do this to them." Veronica admitted.

"Look after this trip I was thinking of ending it with Betty, we've been going through a rough patch. Veronica when we kissed It felt amazing, I want to be with you Veronica not Betty."

"Archie-" Veronica got interrupted by Archie's lips. His hands cupped her face whilst their lips met. Veronica pulled away at first but realised it's what she wanted.

Out of nowhere there was a flashlight shining through the passenger window. They both looked up in surprise. It was Betty and Chuck. Betty gasped whilst Archie and Veronica jumped out of the car.

"Betty wait, it's not what it looks like!" Archie said.

"Chuck please, just hear us out." Veronica called.

"Hear you out?!" Chuck yelled.

"How could you?" Betty cried.
