Road Trip Part 2

Veronica and Betty waited inside the cafe whilst the boys helped win the recovery truck. They kept a look out to see if that guy would drive past again.

"Where's the cabin then boys?" The recovery man asked.

"Just a few more miles." Jughead replied.

"Well I can drive you there and then I'll take the car to the garage. Have it back by tomorrow morning?" He suggested.

"Yeah that'd be great, thank you." Archie said just before calling the girls to come to the truck.

At the cabin
They had all settled in, clothes were hanging in their wardrobes and food was being ordered. Betty and Jughead went for a walk down by the lake to try and mend things between them. Whilst Veronica and Archie sat opposite ends of the house. Veronica clicked away on her phone looking at the latest posts on her social media. She heard a lot of banging coming from upstairs. She put her phone down on the coffee table next to her and stood up.

"Archie?" She yelled. There was no reply. But the banging continued as if someone was being attacked. She began to head towards the stairs, she placed her foot on the first step, "Archie? Stop messing! I'm actually really freaked out!" Just after the power shut down.

"Shit." Veronica muttered to herself and tried to get back to her phone to get some sort of light but has she got back to the coffee table her phone was gone.

"Okay guys... this isn't funny!" She yelled even louder due to being scared. She rushed over to the stairs and went upstairs into Archie's room hoping she'd find him there. But with surprise there was no such thing.

Out of nowhere she felt a hand come over her mouth with a liquid that knocked her out. Meanwhile Archie was outside getting some firewood. He heard a scream and rushed back inside only to find no light. He grabbed a torch that was above the door on a shelf. He ran up the stairs into his room and looked out the window only to be greeted by the view of someone dragging Veronica into a truck.

"Veronica!" Archie yelled. He ran back outside and tried to run as fast as he could to stop the truck. All of a sudden a gun shot echoed through Archie's ear making the truck skid to one side of the road as one of the tyres got hit.

"Jughead!" Betty screamed whilst Archie stared at the gun in Jugheads hand. Just after Archie ran over the the truck to get Ronnie out. He tried to open the back doors but they were locked. The driver was out cold due to the crash. He smashed the window and grabbed Ronnie and pulled her out. She was out cold like the driver. He pulled her far away from the truck and placed her where Betty was standing.

"Oh god is she okay?!" Betty cried.

"I don't know." Archie muttered as he tried to find a pulse.

"Imma call the cops." Jughead said has he pulled his phone out.

"Ronnie come on!" Archie said trying to wake her up. Finally she woke up, but she was dazed.

"What happened?" Ronnie asked just before Archie hugged her tightly.

"I'm never going to let you go again." He whispered in her ear. All of a sudden another gun shot echoed the groups ears. Veronica looked up only to see her best friend on the floor bleeding.

"Betty! No!" Veronica screamed, standing over them was the driver. Another gun shot rang.

Veronica gasped as she woke up in the back of the truck. She had the worse dream. She was somehow back in Archie's truck and on the way to the cabin. "What the hell?" She muttered to herself.

"Everything okay Ronnie?" Betty asked her.

"Yeah I just had a awful dream-" Veronica got cut off by Archie.

"Shit! Guys... the trucks stopping... we've ran out of gas." Archie stated. Veronica clicked on to what had happened and realised it was just like her dream. She looked out the window and saw the same exact cafe that was in her dream.

"Guys we've got to get out of here!" Veronica panicked.

"Chill, Two of us will just have to go and get some gas."

Veronica's heart sunk has her dream was becoming her reality.
