Feelings (Beronica)

"Even if I did reach out to her and say the real reason why I hate her, she wouldn't even care. Nothing would be good enough for her." Veronica said.

"But she would understand more clearly why you acted to crazy." Kevin explained.

"No Kev. She's shown her true colours. I'm over her and our friendship." Veronica lied.

1 year later...
Veronica woke up due to the sun streaming through her curtains. She realised she had another 5 minutes left of freedom before her alarm went off.

"Veronica... your father is asking that you meet him in his study." Hermione called.
Veronica moaned and grabbed her silk dressing gown. She made way to her father.

"So Daddy, mother said you wanted to see me." Veronica started.

"I need a favour."

"Anything."

"I need your help to pick out mothers Christmas present."

"Really Daddy? Christmas is in 4 days..."

"Just fly back to New York and get the black Hermes bag she's been wanting all year." Hiram explained.

"I can't just fly there, I have plans, I'm meeting Toni."

"Veronica we've talked about this, family before girlfriends."

"I don't think so Daddy, I'm 18 now. I don't need-"

"Okay Fine! Go to the shops here and find the nicest set of diamond earrings... not that there will be any."

"Leave that up to me." Veronica said.

Few hours later...
"I'm so sorry Toni, my dad is a nightmare, he's usually on track of things but..."

"It's okay Ronnie, at least we're spending time with each other." Toni said just before kissing Veronica.

"Anyway, pops for old sake?" Veronica suggested.

"You know me too well." Toni joked.

"She'll have a chocolate milkshake and some fries. And I'll have a burger and soda." Toni ordered.

"So I know you said there was no Christmas presents this year but I couldn't help it." Veronica said has she pulled out a box with a bow on. Toni opened it and found a black choker necklace with a one single pearl on.

"Ronnie I love it, thank you!" Toni said.

"Veronica can we talk?" A voice appeared. Veronica looked up and saw Betty.

"Go ahead." Toni said. Veronica sighed and followed Betty outside.

"What do you want?" Veronica asked.

"I need to know if we can at least be friends again."

"No, we can't."

"Why not?" Betty asked.

"Because we are not friends for a reason."

"Yeah we grew apart and you couldn't deal with it." Betty stated.

"No, what i needed was closure, I needed time away from you." Veronica said.

"Closure? We grew apart!"

"No, Betty I have something to say."

"What?"

"I lied. I had feelings for you, so it was easier to let go of you by making you hate me. Because deep down I know you didn't have feelings for me. Therefore, instead of being heartbroken; I made you hate me no matter what so that you'd walk away." Veronica explained.

"Wait... you had feelings for me? How? When?"

"They developed after my birthday party, can you blame me though? You led me on, so of course I'm going to have feelings for you Betty."

"But I was with Cheryl, so how could I ever lead you on?" Betty questioned.

"Look whatever it's in the past. I've clearly made a fool out of myself. I don't have any feelings for you at all. Nothing. After we argued you showed me your true colours and I didn't like them. Goodnight Betty." Veronica said walking back into pops.

Toni's trailer...
Veronica and Toni were watching a movie whilst cuddled up on the couch with a blanket. There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it." Veronica offered. She opened the door and found a guilt ridden Betty. Veronica shut the door behind her.

"What now Betty?"

"I'm here to do something I should've done a long time ago." Betty said just before she pulled Veronica to her lips. Their lips crashed has Betty pulled Veronica closer.

"Does that give you closure?" Betty whispered while smirking.

Heyy guys! Thought I'd do a Beronica one has I haven't done one in a while! Hope you enjoyed this chapter has I got the idea from a personal experience but I'm open to any requests on any couple, just let me know 😊
