Cheater (Barchie)

"You've told Veronica right?" Kevin asked Betty.

"No, I've told you Kev, it would ruin our friendship."

"Well damn right it would. You slept with her boyfriend... in her party... on her birthday!" Kevin spoke.

"Shh! Keep your voice down. It was a drunken mistake, there's no feelings."

"Yeah from Archie there isn't, which again we're unsure about, but you've liked him since kindergarten!" Kevin said.

"Look it's not doing anyone any harm with Veronica not knowing."

"You either tell her or I will!" Kevin yelled before walking off to class. And just to make things worse... Archie showed up.

"Can we talk?" Archie asked.

"No Archie we cannot." Betty said placing her books in her locker.

"I've been thinking."

"About?"

"Us, I know I shouldn't feel this way but I do."

"Woah Archie, what we did was a mistake. Even if I did want it to happen... it was a horrible mistake. I slept with my best friends boyfriend. Don't you see the bad in that?"

"Of course I do but I want you, not Veronica." Archie admitted.

"Look I have to go." Betty said.

1 Week Later...
"So I've picked out your Tux for my cousins wedding next week and don't worry it matches my dress." Veronica said walking down the corridor linking arms with Archie. "And my mom was wondering if you needed a hotel room as she won't let you share with me?" Veronica asked but Archie was paying attention to someone else. Betty.

"Hellooo archiekins?!" Veronica yelled.

"Sorry... uh... yeah your cousins wedding. Yeah I'll share a room with you. Can you give me a second?" Archie asked completely ignoring what Veronica just said.

"Uh sure but my mom said we can't-" Veronica couldn't finish as Archie had already left to speak to Betty.

"Biology room now." Archie whispered in Betty's ear. He opened the door whilst checking Veronica wasn't looking.

"Archie I swear if this is about-" Betty got interrupted by Archie's lips touching hers. She gasped before following him. She pushed him off, "Archie stop."

"I know you feel the same Betty." Archie said just before continuing kissing her. All of a sudden, the door opened and in walked Betty's best-friend, Veronica. Veronica gasped has she saw the two people she thought she loved and trusted kissing each other. She burst into tears whilst trying to catch her breath.

"How could you?" She said has her voice broke just before running out. She ran down the corridor whilst Archie and Betty followed. Veronica felt like she had been hit by a bus, her heart was hurting more and more by the minute. How could Archie and Betty do this to her?

"Ronnie wait! Let me explain!" Archie yelled across the car park.

"Leave me alone Archie!" Veronica replied.

The next day...
Veronica sat in her house watching old movies trying to take her mind off everything that happened. Kevin had told her everything over night, which made things even worse. There was a knock on the door, Hermione opened it.

"She's in there." Hermione voice muffled, just before footsteps led into Veronica's room. There stood a guilty Archie. She pressed pause on her film and sat up.

"Ronnie, I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you I swear."

"Whatever, just leave, we're done Archie." Veronica ignored.

"Come on just talk to me, please. I'm not leaving until we talk properly." Archie demanded.

"Fine you want to talk about it! We'll talk about it! How was she? Was she better than me? Is that why you slept with her?Come on you wanted to speak about it... so speak!" Veronica yelled.

"It was at the party."

"Oh great, you thought you would get away with it because I would be too drunk to even realise?" Veronica continued whilst there was no reply from Archie. "My best friend Archie, could've been anyone else but no Betty? Betty Cooper?" Veronica began to cry again.

"Please Veronica just forgive me?"

"No Archie, if you want her you can have her. We're through, I never ever want to speak to you ever again. And has for school, you ignore me in the corridors when I walk past and you don't come running to me when things take a turn for the worse between you and Betty. Oh and believe me everyone will know what you've done." Veronica said.

"Please Veronica can we at least be friends?"

"Look at you, friends? You hurt me Archie, you know how bad I am with commitments and trust and yet here you are betraying me just like the past relationships I've had. You're not even fighting to have me back. Do you have feelings for her?" Veronica asked.

"I don't know."

"It's a simple question Archie, yes or no?"

"Yes." Archie admitted, Veronica scoffed as she opened her bedroom door.

"There we are then, now leave. I've got my answers and you've got yours. I never want to see you again, I mean it."
