Twenty

Just as Laura and Jin Ae steps out from the unit, the king of all shine, the sun started to say hello once again. Both of them haven't had lunch yet and it's almost 3 in the afternoon so they decided to grab something to eat first before heading to the shopping mall.

"So tell me about your guy.." Laura munched her sandwhich right after she throws the bomb over Jin Ae. They chose to eat at Startbucks across the street before hoarding the mall and lose themselves on shopping. Jin Ae caught off guard but she didn't let Laura see it or else, she'll become more obsess and the sound of it causes every hair on her back stands up on its own.

"There's really nothing interesting about him." she shook her head as Jin Ae indulge herself with her sandwhich. She's starving like hell. She can't even remember when was the last time she had a decent meal.

"You know what Ginny, you're starting to make me feel I'm like your bitch friend. I'm not gonna hit on him." Laura rolls her eyes over Jin Ae. She's thinking that Jin Ae is just holding back to share 'coz she's scared the history might repeat itself. But for Jin Ae, there isn't really that much to share yet. She caught some glimpse of what kind of guy Dae Hyun is but it's not enough to show him off. But that glimpse sure is enough for her to like him. And the thought of it brings a smile on her face.

"Uhmm...Okay, what's with the smile?" Laura noticed Jin Ae smiling out of nowhere.

"What?"

"You're smiling"

"No, I'm not!" Jin Ae clears her throat. She then quickly finish her sandwhich grab her things and starts to walk towards the mall leaving Laura behind without a word.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Laura yelled and starts the chase. Jin Ae looked back and throws a tongue at her.

The two ladies ends up their shopping at around 7 in the evening and Jin Ae is feeling like her legs are about to give up. Laura is a shopping machine and she couldn't keep up with her.

"I think we should rest for a while, Laura. You're starting to kill myself right now"

"Alright. Let's have dinner. My treat!"

They went across the street where all kinds of restaurants are in line. The lights are on full blow Jin Ae thought there's some kind of a fiesta going on or something. The people are as busy as ever. The cool breeze of the night sets up the mood and Laura misses New York so she chose this steak restaurant just beside Starbucks where they had their lunch. And just because Laura couldn't miss a day without smoking, she insists to sit outside at the smoking area.

Despite Laura said she will treat her to dinner, Jin Ae still wants to chip in or atleast buy her own drink but as soon as she found that her wallet isn't inside her purse, she hurriedly went back the store they last visited.

"Hey, Laura. I'll be back. I forgot my wallet at the store" she informed Laura while she's lighting a cigarette. "Yup" Laura replied.

Luckily the sales lady kept her wallet in case someone asks for it. She thanked the lady and went back immediately to Laura.

As she walks her way across the street, from afar she's seeing a guy seated beside Laura. Their back is facing her way so she couldn't recognize who is the guy. She squinted as she walks near them. The guy looks familiar but she can't be sure. The guy is wearing a black casual coat and he's blonde. Blonde? The thought of Laura managed to catch a guy this early made her smile while walking. Oh Laura you're such a vixen! She shakes her head as she approached Laura and put a hand on her shoulder. Laura turn her head up as so as the guy, Oh shit.
