Jealousy Activated (15)

After putting Honey back onto the ground and giving the twins a small smile, Cedric left to go find his friends Honeys friends on the other hand stared at her expectantly, waiting for an explanation.

"He apologized" She said with a sheepish smile. They all just continued to give judgmental eyes, making her role her own. "I know what I'm doing guys. If I thought he had bad intentions would I really still forgive him?"

They all shrugged, knowing she had a point and they all climbed into the carriage. They respected her choices. Mable and Honey sat next to each other so they could talk, and Fred and George didn't speak. Yes, they respected Honeys decision to be Cedric's friend again, but that didn't mean they liked it. Before splitting up to go to their respective tables, Fred caught Honey by the hand and pulled her aside before they even got into the great Hall.

"Are you sure about the Cedric thing?" He asked her curiously, "you asked him questions?"

"Yeah, I did. I made sure he didn't think of me like... that before I even concidered forgiving him" She told him with a soft smile. "I know what I'm doing."

"If he does anything- tell me and I'll handle it." Fred told her seriously. She couldn't help but giggle at his protectiveness and she pulled him into a hug, surprising him.

"I will" She said, letting go of him and heading into the great Hall. She left so quickly so he wouldn't be able to see her blush.

Honey walked to her table, compleatly ignoring Georges curious stare at her slightly red face. She needed to speak to Mable about the whole Cedric thing, and see if she was comfortable with him sitting with them. When Honey asked, of course she said she was fine with it, though she didn't approve compleatly after hearing what he had done. She wanted to tell Mable about what she could do, and how she was impossible to lie to, but something stopped her. She didn't tell Cedric when they were friends because she wasn't sure if he would stay her friend, and that proved to be a wise decision because they didn't. Even though she felt like she could trust Mable more than she ever did Cedric, she decided not to tell her for now.

Hagrid was announced as the new Care for Magical Creatures teacher, which was exciting. She was taking the class again, and couldn't help but hope she had it with Fred like the last year. She would find out in the morning, along with how the new defence teacher, Remus Lupin, would be.

Honey was oddly excited for school, and to see what classes she was taking. More than anything she was ready for the year, and the OWLS to be over before they even started. As soon as she was handed her schedule it was taken out of her hands by Mable, who put pink checks by the classes they had together, and then passed too Cedric who did the same with black. They were all sitting at the Hufflepuff table seating breakfast.

"Can I have my schedule back, please?" She asked them. Just as Cedric was about to hand it back to her it was taken out of him hands by a passing Weasley.

"You'll have to catch it" Fred said, being the one that took it from Cedric. He looked at it for a second, but lifted it up over his head once Honey made a snatch for it.

Honey simply climbed onto the bench and took it from his hands with a small laugh, that turned into a small shriek when he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her off the bench and back onto the ground.

"It's too early for this" Mable said to Honey when she sat back down, though she said it in a friendly way. "Just get together already"

"What?" Cedric asked surprised as Honey punched Mable's arm and rolled her eyes.

"Nothing!" Honey said instantly.

"I knew it!" Cedric said excitedly to Mable, "Does she have a plan yet?"

"She'll just flirt with him a lot until we think of something" She answered, making Honey bang her head on the table with a groan.

"Can we not, guys?" 

Halfway through the day Honey still hadn't come across either twin in class, and was starting to think they just weren't going to have classes together until she and Mable walked into potions. They were both sitting towards the back of the room, even though there were tables available closer to the front. Honey was surprised when Mable practically ran away from her and towards the twins. She tapped Fred on the shoulder, making him look up at her in confusion. She motioned for him to stand up, which he did, allowing her to take his spot. Both boys looked at her like she was stupid, to which she raised her eyebrow.

"Oh no, " She said in an over loud tone. "This spots taken. Looks like you'll have to sit with Honey"

"You're a weirdo" Honey said, sitting down at the table in front of them. Still confused, Fred grabbed his bag and sat next to Honey with a shrug. He couldn't really complain, even though the action raised question for both him and George.

"I've got a plan" Mable whispered to George, making him smirk.

"Amazing. What is it?" He asked her excitedly.

"Do you know how Hufflepuff has their big start of the year party tonight?"

"No" He responded confused, no one had ever mentioned it to them before.

"Well you're both invited" She stated, "Meet me by the kitchens at eight on Friday, and if you see  Roger Davis, hide him"

"Why are we hiding Roger?" Honey asked her, as both her and Fred had turned around to listen.

"Because you ended up in bed with him last year and I'd rather not repeat that." Mable said casually. Both Fred and George stared at Honey in shock, never having known that before. She was the sweetest little thing and they didn't want to thing of her doing those kinds of things.

"I didn't have sex with him, to clarify" She said to the two boys, making them relax.

"You two did something" Mable said with a scoff, making Honey roll her eyes.

"Can you not please?" She asked, shooting a look at the two boys who were staring at her in surprise. She turned back around, along with Fred, and Mable turned to George.

"Jealousy activated" She murmured to him, pointing at Fred who was glaring ahead of them.

"Nice one. We'll be there"
