An order meeting, not unlike any other that they had before, turned the group's world upside down when a frantic Patronus came from Hogwarts itself, informing them that Harry Potter had arrived and Voldemort was surely not behind. No one needed to be told what to do next, the kissed their loved ones or left to do so, heading directly to the Hogshead pub where they would be able to enter the castle. That day, May 2, would be the last day for one side, and they could only hope that it wouldn't be theirs.
As previously agreed, Tonks went with Fred and George to say goodbye to Honey. Sirius and Remus went too. They wouldn't tell her where they were going and Tonks and Teddy would stay with her, along with Andromeda. They were going to have a girls day with the baby far far away from what was sure to be a groundbreaking battle.
The second the group walked in Honey knew that something was happening. They didn't even bother to pretend it wasn't as Fred kissed Honey with a broad smile. He was the only one who didn't seem nervous of the group but she knew better than to question it. He always put on a brave face when he was scared. He kissed her again, telling her I love you and We'll be together soon.
Her goodbye with her father and Remus were those with jokes to kick ass and fake punches at each other to pump them up about what they were going to do. They had been there before and weren't afraid. They were ready to die so be it as long as it was finally over for good. This cause, the revolution, the order, it was getting tiring and they were getting older. They wanted the future to be now and to be safe, away from Voldemort and his death eaters.
George said a quick goodbye and laughed at her small good luck, saying he had all the luck he needed and promised he would show her what he meant when he got back. Without further ado, the four of them left, leaving the woman in a painful silence that was soon filled with the sound of Teddy's spontaneous laughter.
"Tonks, I'm not going to make it until they get back," She told her weakly. She was sitting up on the couch and could feel her energy draining to levels lower than she thought they could.
"Don't say that," She said, sitting down next to her and placing Teddy into her arms. He always helped make her feel better.
"I mean it," She said, gently handing him back to her. "There is a number on the fridge, Marry. Call her when it happens and she'll know what to do."
"Honey! You're not-"
"Number on the fridge," Andromeda confirmed with a nod, placing a hand on Tonk's shoulder. warHoney couldn't lie, and if she didn't mean what she was saying then she wouldn't say it.
Mable and Cedric stopped by to see Honey as well, saying their own quick goodbyes before heading out as well. Mable had no idea how they were planning to get into Hogwarts but Cedric knew as it somehow came up in conversation with Fred earlier in the week. They were to go to the Hogshead and ask Abberforth Dumbledore.
The Hogshead looked better than the last time that they had been there. It might have been because Death Eaters were passing through and preferred a darker environment meaning that he was getting a lot more business than before. The old man, looking nothing like Albus except for his eyes and long beard, looked incredibly inconvenienced at their arrival and pointed them to a back room with a grumble.
"Are you scared?" Mable asked him as they climbed into an open portrait.
"Terrified," He answered, "But at least this will be over."
"If we win," She said bitterly, "And of the costs?"
"We'll have to just see when it's over."
They didn't have time to continue the conversation because the tunnel ended, opening up into a familiar room. It was the room of requirement where they held Dumbledores Army meetings and it was full of people both young and old, all in various states of injury. The younger ones looked worse for wear- particularly the seventh years who were almost unrecognizable underneath the bruises. Fred greeted them upon entering with surprising cheerfulness.
"Did you guys see Honey before heading over?" He asked them curiously.
"We did," Mable said with a nod. She wished she could say that she had looked good. "She didn't seem too worried."
"Good. Good," He said, and they were both taken aback by his positive attitude. He was called over by his sister so he smiled at them one last time before walking over to them.
They were organizing their plan, taking note of their numbers and strategizing the best way to defend the castle to keep the death eaters out as long as possible. As soon as Harry was spotted, things were going to happen and happen quickly. He had run off with Luna who was helping him find something, and it wouldn't be long before he either found what he was looking for or was caught trying to find it. The death eaters stationed there were told to call the dark lord given Harry showed up because Voldemort had to be the one to kill him, they learned that easily enough from Emma who had not been contacted on what was happening. Everyone was scared and for good reason.

Update: I said days but got it done in a few hours so double update and uh.. I love you guys. Thank you all so much for everything and if you hate me after reading the next chapter that is completely understandable.
