He shifted his gaze from the file to you and changed his expression to a small smile after seeing you. "Good morning sir" you greeted your boss with a cheerful smile. He smiled at you and wished you the same. "I've got a news for you agent y/n" he confessed getting straight to the point, with a little worried expression. You couldn't excately understand if his eyes showed worry or saddness or maybe both. He was one person you looked upto, as you're idol as he was perfect in everything he did also hiding his identity with the organisation itself. Since you had nothing to say, you just nodded waiting for him to continue.
Y/n's POV
"First I want you to sit down agent y/n. Get yourself a little comfortable" I nodded, obeying and taking a seat , curious to know what he had to say. "Your father was on a mission as you know" he began "He couldn't complete it and has gone missing, we think that the person he was spying on, 'Mr. Cho' has kidnapped him" He sighed. Tears were already ready to escape from my eyes but I managed to keep my tears from falling. I was hoping he was fine and alive. How is it possible, he was one of the best. I was lost in my own thoughts and didn't listen a thing that Mr. Kim was saying. My thoughts were interrupted by something that Mr. Kim said. "Y/n were you listening?" He asked politely. I didn't reply anything "I'll repeat for you only this once ok?" He said and I just nodded.
Author's POV
"Since your father is kidnapped, we are assigning you for this mission"he began. You just nodded since you were not in a state to talk. "Your mission will be to gather information about Mr. Cho's illegal businesses and rescue your father and other agents that went missing. For this mission I'm assigning agent Chen as your partner, as we don't want to take any further risks." You sat there listening to him silently. Not a word fell out of your mouth, not even a yes.
"The details about your undercover Identity is in this envelope. So if you choose to accept this mission please take the envelope, it has your passport and other important documents and more detailed information about your mission." Without a second thought you took the envelope. You stood up, about to leave when suddenly Mr. Kim spoke "once you've taken this mission" "I cannot back off" you completed his sentence. He smiled at you. "I think I should get going, goodbye" you say "pack your important stuff and get ready soon , Chen will come to pick you up for the airport" Mr. Kim said.
You nodded and left the cabin. You were really upset about your father but really angry at the same time. You wanted to rescue him and that was the only reason you took this mission. You quickly hurried home. Once you were home you fall on the bed thinking about everything that happened. It takes a while for you to take in the whole situation and not soon after you realise what mess you were in tears start rolling down your cheek. It wasn't only your father but also your safety as well on the line. You were about to deal with a person who had kidnapped all the agents who were working on the case you just accepted. But for now all you worried about was your father's safety. You kept reminding yourself that he's going to be ok . You hastily pack all your important things in a small bag.

You didn't pack much of stuff , you just packed a pair of fresh clothes and some other useful things. You didn't pack all your clothes since usually the organisation provides you with all the necessary stuffs like gadgets, clothes, etc.
Running quickly in the bathroom to wash your tear strained face and once done you searched your wardrobe for nice pair of clothing. After a few minutes of search you finally decided to wear a ripped shorts and a white Mickey mouse crop top and a green jacket with some jewellery. You wore a pair of black converse and sunglasses.

You still had time till Chen arrives so you decided to take a look at your envelope.

Author's note : Hey guys , I know this chapter is really short but I'll be uploading another new chapter today. Hope you like it.
