Ara and Chen were cuddling and giggling just like small kids without caring what everyone else would think or say. Chen sure was hurt by Ara not liking him but there was nothing he could do about it. As the night grew darker both of them parted their ways and went to their rooms. A lot had happened and they surely deserved some rest.

As the morning sun rose, Ara was woken up with a hope of finding her father sooner. She did her morning routine and wore some casuals. She stood at the balcony looking at the wonderful view that the morning had offered. The thought of morning reminded her of Jungkook. Of how she admired him, of how cute his morning face was, of how he made her flatter every time they talked. She treasured the moment when they kissed, how his lips moved perfectly with her. She felt a spark when their lips connected. Her hands involuntarily touched her lips. She was so sure that she was in love with him since that very moment. But somewhere inside she knew she's going to end up hurting Jungkook as well as herself, since once she finished the mission she'll have to leave Jungkook and BTS behind which scared her to death.

Jungkook woke up with a tad of headache. His eyes were all swollen and red because of crying. He woke up shrugging off the feeling and got dressed. The horrifying events of yesterday flashed before his eyes. He was at the verge of crying remembering how Ara and Chen dating was a possibility. He remembered how much courage he had to build up to kiss Ara and confess to her. Those memories made the young boy smile. He touched his lips thinking about the kiss. He missed her every second when he couldn't see her, he was head over heels in love with Ara. The knock on the door ruined his moment. "Hey, Jungkook-ah get down for breakfast" Jin yelled as Jungkook replied with a yes. He rushed down to find Namjoon, Jimin, Hobi and Taehyung at the breakfast table enjoying the food Jin served. The table was as chaiotic as always. Jungkook quietly took his seat and enjoyed the food without uttering a single word.

Soon Ara and Chen joined them at the dining table greeting everyone. Jungkook was trying hard not to talk to Ara or even look at her. Jungkook suddenly got up taking his leave trying to forget everything he witnessed the night before. Ara was confused by Jungkook's bizzare behaviour. She couldn't help but worry about Jungkook's strange behaviour. Everyone was stunned by his unusual behaviour but decided to leave him alone since none wanted to mess with the golden maknae. Everyone was practically scared when the maknae got angry or disappointed so they found it better to leave him alone.

After the breakfast they got their luggage and made themselves comfortable in the minivan that Jin had arranged. The ride back home was pretty silent with Jungkook being mad at Ara and other's trying not to piss him off any further. Ara was completely oblivious of the fact that Jungkook's anger was only because of the jealousy of seeing Ara cuddle with Chen. He'd talk to everyone but Ara which made Ara feel strange. Jennie as usual remained hushed and not noticed. Maybe that's what she wanted.

It wasn't long when all of them reached their destination. As everyone was unloading the car Ara pulled Jungkook to an extreme corner, away from other guys, where they won't be able to hear anything, trying to know the reason behind Jungkook's ignorant behaviour towards her. Everyone kept unloading, pretending they didn't notice a thing when in reality all of them knew something was up. "Hey what's with you?" Ara asked holding onto his arm. Jungkook jerked his arm trying to free himself from Ara grip. "Nothing" he bluntly replied anger getting the best of him. "What do you mean nothing? You don't usually behave like this" she fairly yelled. Jungkook took a deep breath and looked in Ara's eyes. "Who is Chen to you?" he asked bluntly looking Ara dead in the eye. "He's just my brother" she said to which Jungkook rolled his eyes. "Didn't seem like it yesterday" Jungkook spoke leaving Ara to think for a while. That is when she understood that Jungkook might've seen her cuddle with Chen. "So was it all about Chen and I? So it was you getting jealous? He's my brother Jungkook" Ara replied in anger while Jungkook still rolling his eyes. "Yeah, because I can't see someone I like cuddle with some guy" Jungkook admitted and Ara stood there in shock not knowing what to reply. "Be my girl Ara" Jungkook added while calming down as he slowly held Ara's hand to which Ara's eyes widened. "I know you really like me" he spoke making Ara's cheeks all pink. "W-w-what makes y-you s-so sure?" she hovered over her words with her heart beating at an unbelievably fast speed. Jungkook grabbed Ara's hand and placed it near her heart. "I can bet I'm the only one who can make you feel this way Min Ara, I'm the only one who can make your heart race and you are the only one who can make mine. Feel that? That's how much you love me" he said looking deep in her eyes. "You ask how I know. I knew you loved me the day I kissed you, I felt that spark Ara. But I just want to hear it" Jungkook added reading Ara's mind. She was frozen on her place as she wasn't prepared for anything like that. "Be mine" Jungkook spoke getting closer to her and catching Ara off guard.

She knew things might end terribly, if she agreed. She might hurt him and she didn't want that. She loved him with all her heart but she couldn't be his. She knew that she'll have to go one day, she knew being Jungkook's girl will only put him in danger. She could already see how hurt Jungkook would be if she left him without telling him, because that's what she'll have to do in the end. She won't have a happy ending with him but instead only a sad one. "No" she said emotionlessly, now it was Jungkook's chance to widen his eyes. "What?" he spoke in surprise. "I said no, I cannot be your girl Jungkook. No" she said with a stone cold expression. "B-but" Jungkook stuttered. "Why" he added trying to control his tears. "Because I can't" Ara spoke with the same expression. "Tell me" Jungkook fairly yelled trying to know the reason as he held Ara's shoulder. "Because I don't like you" she finally spoke turning around trying to hide the tear she was holding back. Jungkook's world fell apart when those words left Ara's mouth. Jungkook couldn't think straight, he didn't know what to do. "T-the kiss meant n-n-nothing to y-you?" he stuttered hoping for some positive reply. "No" was her reply. He couldn't stand there, his heart was aching and he wanted to leave. He felt as if he was stabbed with a thousand knives all at once. Ara still had her back faced towards him, she didn't want him to see her cry. Jungkook didn't say anything but just ran away to his room leaving Ara alone. After hearing Jungkook's footsteps Ara couldn't help it but cry out loud. Her legs giving up on her making her fall on the ground. She cupped her face still crying, she mumbled "I don't like you Jungkook because I Love you and the kiss meant nothing to be even though it was my everything" she sobbed even harder.

Telling lies to protect someone you love only ends up in destroying them. Never lie to a person you love, it's not worth it and they don't deserve it.
