I ran towards the kitchen where Ara was washing dishes to find out the reason for her screaming. A wave of panic was filling me. On my way towards the kitchen, I saw Ara rush towards her room, she brought her purse and walked towards. Before I open my mouth to ask her anything she started dragging me somewhere, I stared asking her questions that were in my mind even though I knew it was useless. I knew Ara won't answer me but I thought of giving it a try. I just don't understand why Ara likes to drag me so much. We came into the garage of the house where all the cars and bikes were parked. These vehicles were extremely advanced since I was the one who added advanced features in them. She told me to see her at Jennie's house which was 10 minutes away from ours. She took a motorcycle and left leaving me behind. I took another one and began riding towards Jennie's house. Ara was ahead of me so I had to speed up. As soon as we reached Jennie's house, I rushed towards the door. She was going to knock at the door until she noticed the lock of the house was broken. It gave me a weird vibe. We both rushed inside worried.
Ara's P.O.V
I got a call from Jennie. She didn't say much but was just crying. I panicked hearing a cry and I nearly yelled a 'what happened' to her but she didn't say anything. I decided to go to her house so I hung up the phone. I took my purse and dragged Chen in the garage. I told him to meet me at Jennie's house and I took off. I rushed to the door once I reached there. I was about to knock but I noticed the door lock was broken. I hurried in and saw Jennie crying. "What happened?" I Uttered. "S-s-someone" she stuttered trying to control herself from crying "someone stole my car" she said still crying. "Ok, but why are you so upset about a car, don't you have like 10 of them?" I asked. Yes, Jennie was quite rich but she didn't like to show off like Hana. Since Jennie didn't have the licence she had a driver to drive her everywhere. "It was a gift from my older sister. She bought it for me from her first pay before she died" she said whipping her tear. She showed us the picture of her car.

"Let's go find it then" I said as I got up from the couch. "But I don't even know where it went or who stole it" she replied in a low voice. "Do you know when it happened?" I questioned. "Not more than 15 minutes ago, because that's when I came home with the car" she said. "We're wasting time lets chase the thief" Chen said. "Did you see anything suspicious?" I interrogated. "Not much, but there was a broken blue Toyota parked near my house. As much as I know it was the guy who was at the driver's seat, he had red hair" she responded. Red haired guy reminded me of the guy who chased us in the forest but shouldn't he be dead? Since the car he was driving which was a blue Toyota as Jennie said, went flying off the cliff. I was shocked to hear that the guy and his car were alright. And the car was a Toyota, no wonder it was broken. I looked at Chen and probably it didn't strike him yet, I'll tell him later. "But we don't know which way he went" Jennie protested. "We didn't meet him on the way here, so he must've gone the other way" Chen reasoned. We hurried out and sat on our bikes "climb on behind me, Jennie" I urged.
"We'll catch the car in no time, it can't go as fast as our bikes" Chen assured Jennie. "I hope we find the car" she whispered as she swung herself onto my bike.
Author's P.O.V
In few moments they were hurtling down the road in search of the thief. Jennie's Subaru was bright orange coloured which made Ara confident that it would not be difficult to pick up the trail of the thief. "Seems strange to me" Ara commented. "Auto thieves generally steal cars of standard colour which are easier to get rid of unlike yours" Ara suggested. "You are speaking as if you are used to stealing cars" Jennie commented. "I think it is better to launch a police complaint rather than taking matters in our hands. Because we ain't no professions." Jennie commented. Only if she knew that Chen and Ara were no less than any professionals. Suddenly Chen came to a halt. "There's a shop there, I guess we should ask them if the car passed this way. No way on earth can anyone miss a bright orange car" Chen said. We interrogated the shop men and luckily one of them had seen the car. "I did see a bright orange Subaru pass by awhile ago" said the shop keeper. He told them the direction and they took off again.
Ara's P.O.V
We were riding the bikes on an unbelievable speed. As we were riding the bikes I saw one of my classmates Yeojin, eating ice-cream. Perhaps she might know about the car. I stopped the motorcycle in front of Yeojin. "Did you perhaps see an orange Subaru pass from here?" I asked and she nodded. "Yes, I saw it a while ago, but why do you ask?" she asked back. "It's a stolen car and we are finding it, do you happen to know which direction it went?" I questioned. "Isn't it supposed to be the police who should be searching and not you? But anyways it went that way" she answered. "Well thank you" I said and was about to leave when Yeojin said "at the speed he was making the poor car travel, I don't think you guys will be able to catch him" and went back to her ice-cream. "Did you see who was driving it?" Chen asked. "Well he almost hit a lady with the car but all I saw was blur, but the man had red hair" she answered while licking her ice-cream. "Thank you, we'll leave now" I said. I had no idea what to do next. "Red hair" Chen fairly shouted. "I remember something, wasn't it the same guy wh-" I quickly stopped him before he said something further. "Ara and Chen, I really appreciate you guys trying to find the car by yourselves but I guess it'll be easy for us if we just launch a complaint" Jennie said and at this point I agreed with her and so did Chen. "OK, let's go then" Chen said and we started driving to the nearest police station.
After launching the complaint we droped Jennie at her house. I suddenly remembered the broken lock. I asked her about it and she replied "When I came home the lock was already broken, I searched the house but nothing was stolen, everything was on its place except for the car key. It was the only thing stolen." A tear dropped from her eyes. We offered her to stay at our house but she politely refused. Soon we left Jennie's house and went to ours.
We bought some smagyeopsal and bibimbab. We got home and freshened up. We came and sat on the dining table and started eating our food. "Ara, do you think the man, he could be the same man we saw? The one who wreaked his own car while chasing us was the one who stole Jennie's car?" Chen asked and I wagged my head. "Miracles do happen, it's possible that he wasn't hurt much and somehow managed to get the car and himself out " I stated the possibility. "Or maybe someone helped him" Chen commented with food in his mouth. "Maybe the car he used to chase us wasn't even his car maybe it wa-" "was stolen" I cut him off snapping my fingures. "Maybe if that's the case then it could be that, he's desperate to go somewhere" he said and I agreed. "He probably stole Jennie's car to go somewhere, or maybe run away." I stated. "Or who knows, he might have stolen the car to do some illegal businesses, since he is one of Mr. Cho's men" Chen commented. He was right, it could've been the reason too. "It surprises me that he broke the door lock just to rob the key of the car" I spoke and Chen snapped his fingers. "Maybe it wasn't just for the cars duplicate key, maybe it was a distraction. I guess I know how he stole the car." He paused. "He probably knew that Jennie wasn't home, he broke the house and stole the extra key of her car probably to cut short the time, he waited for Jennie to come back and when she did she panicked seeing the door open. Which any person would've. He took the advantage and stole the car while Jennie was searching the house." He explained. "If that's the case then it was a well planned robbery" I commented. "Maybe he stole the car just to warn us" Chen began "how?" I questioned. "Maybe somehow Mr. Cho know about us and he could've sent him to steal the car, like warn us that he could do anything to our friends easily." Chen explained. "Or it could be Hana, I saw her she gave him an envelope. She could do it too, probably to take her revenge on us for whatever happened during the party" I stated. He nodded in agreement. "At this point it's difficult to say whether it was Hana or Mr. Cho, but we will have to figure it out soon " Chen said and I nodded agreeing to what he said. "We should get some rest Chen, we have school tomorrow" I said finishing my dinner. We both washed our dishes and went to our bedrooms. I changed into my night wear and fell asleep.
