I stretched the next morning as I woke up. I heard Hannah's dad grumbling outside of the closet.

"Those stupid snakes." "Where did I put that stupid key?"

I looked out of my newly expanded peep hole. The sun was halfway up the sky, it was probably around eight or nine in the morning.

Finally the locks clicked and the door swung open. I squinted in the bright light. I stood up and stepped out of the closet with the blanket I had been given under my arm. I turned my back to Hannah's dad and stuck my hands out to be tied.

We walked back to the shed casually. He trusted me, I knew I couldn't run away alone. Especially with no water and my hands tied. I squinted up at the sky. It was clear, the sky was a beautiful shade of blue. The sun kissed my skin, it was warm. I chuckled, it would probably be a good day to lay out and get a tan.

Hannah's dad unlocked the door to the shed and opened the door for me.

I walked in and let him untie my hands. I sat down on the couch and pulled the coloring book and crayons out from under the cushion.

"Hide that, Hannah's still here." Hannah's dad whispered.

I quickly hid the crayons and coloring book.

I stood up and followed him back to the door to the bedroom.

He knocked on the door a few times. "Hannah, its 9:30." "Kate's here."

"DAD WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS?" Hannah screeched from behind the door.

Hannah's dad rolled his eyes and rubbed his beard. "Hannah, I'm just doing what you asked me to do last night."

Hannah threw the door open. "Let me untie him first."

My stomach sank to the floor. "Untie him?" I thought. I ran back to the couch. I didn't want to see what was on the other side of that door.

Hannah sashayed out of the bedroom. "Ok, Dad." "I'm ready to go back to the house."

I turned around on the couch to look at Hannah before she left. She was wearing a bubble gum pink silk robe. It was sickeningly sweet looking. I shook my head as the door shut and locked.

I stood up and ran back to the bedroom. I found Cameron sitting on the edge of the bed. I ran over to him and embraced him.

"Kate, she took the papers off of the cameras." He said tiredly.

"I don't care Cam." "I was so worried about you." I held his face in my hands. "Are you ok?" "Did she hurt you?" I embraced him again.

"It was a weird night Kate, but I'm mostly ok." "Nothing too serious happened." Cameron rubbed his wrist.

"She said you were tied up." I said wiping tears from my eyes.

"Oh, just one wrist so I couldn't leave." He held up his hand.

I held his hand and looked at his wrist. It was red and had sores on it.

"Here, we need to put a cool rag on this." I grabbed his other hand and started leading him to the bathroom.

"You're not mad about Hannah spending the night with me?"

I pointed to the toilet lid. "Sit." I pulled a clean rag out of the cabinet ad started soaking it in cold water. "Of course not." "It wasn't your fault." "I'm hurt, because you don't deserve this." "I was worried a lot because I care about you." "But I'm not mad."

I held the rag on his wrist as I sat on the bathroom counter. I rubbed my finger on a bruise on his neck. "Are you really ok, though?"

He rubbed his hand on the back of his neck. "I've certainly been better, but I'll be ok." He smiled at me. "I'm just glad I'm back with you." He rubbed his hand up and down my leg.

I pulled the rag off his wrist. I looked at the blood spots on the white rag. "I wish I had something to put on your wrist but Hannah didn't put any first aid supplies in the bathroom."

Cameron turned his wrist a few times. "It'll be ok." "It's just a little sore." "You know there's no camera in the bathroom."

"What are you implying Mr. Dallas?" I leaned a little closer to him.

He stood up and walked around the counter. He pulled me around to face him. "I'm thinking about this." He held my face in his hands and started kissing me.

In those moments all that existed was his warm lips. His soft, gentle kiss got rid of all of my problems. I ran my fingers through his long hair. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to his chest. I wrapped my legs around him and he lifted me off of the counter. He spun me around a few times before he set me back down on my feet.

"I needed that." I said breathlessly.

"I love you, Kate." He said tears in his eyes.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you too Cam."
