"You know I really like this house." I smiled looking around the kitchen.
"Yeah, it is pretty beautiful." Cameron smiled. "But not nearly as beautiful as you."
I playfully pushed Cameron. "Oh stop, you don't have to flirt with me all the time." "I mean, we're already dating."
Cameron stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I know, but I still love you."
I rested my head on his chest. "So what do we do now that we have a house together?"
"I say we do whatever we want." He unwrapped his arms and walked over to one of the kitchen cabinets.
"What are we going to do with our glasses?"
"Just wait." "And close your eyes."
I closed my eyes and stood patiently leaning on the granite counter top.
Cameron rested his hand on my shoulder and slid something across the counter in front of me. "Ok open them."
I opened my eyes and saw a box of chocolate covered strawberries. I turned around to kiss Cameron.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me up onto the counter. He pulled away from the deep kiss.
"This is what I think we should do now that we have our own house." He pulled the box closer to my leg.
"Are you going to feed me Cameron Dallas?" I teased flirtatiously.
"Only if you want me to." He smiled and raised his eyebrow.
I leaned closer to him. "I would love for you to feed me."
He picked a white chocolate covered strawberry out of the box and held it by the leaves. "Open."
I opened my mouth. I laughed. "I can't take you seriously!"
"He you want to be fed or not?" He waved the strawberry around.
I smiled. "Of course, Cam." I opened my mouth and he fed me the strawberry. I took a bite and the chocolate shell crunched. The strawberry had a fresh, sweet juiciness to it and the chocolate was rich and creamy. It was like heaven in a food. It was divine.
I opened my eyes to look at Cam again. I gave him a thumbs up. "Definitely a great way to start our living together." I leaned down to kiss him again.
He ran his hands up and down my bare thighs. Our kiss was deep and passionate, we had not a care in the world. We were happy and together. Our lives started that day.
"Mmm." "I love the cologne you're wearing today, love."
"I got it yesterday." "I thought you might like it."
I waved my legs. "Ok, now you're going to have to help me down." "Because who ever built this house was not anticipating a short person living in it."
I wrapped my legs around him. Cameron wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me off the counter.
He held me for a second and I laid my head on his shoulder. "If I could have one wish, I'd wish for this day to never end." I whispered softly in his ear.
He set me down gently on my feet. "But then we could never get married." He said softly, holding me close to his chest.
"Is that your plan, Mr. Dallas?" I wrapped my arms around his neck. "To marry me?" I batted my eyelashes.
He held my face in his hands. "I couldn't imagine a happier ever after." He kissed me softly.
I gasped for air. I was back in reality. I felt around trying to see if I was still in the closet. I felt the walls of the plywood closet and relaxed. I coughed my throat was dry and the desert we were in. I looked out of my peep hole and saw it was morning. It looked to be just after sunrise so I was likely going to be in there a few more hours. I pulled my knees to my chest and tried to peel my soaked shirt off of my back. It was no use my clothes may have as well been glued to me. My light gray t-shirt was now dark gray. I sat there gently rocking, begging for mercy. I just wanted it to be over. I wanted to be free.
