J: my idea is helping you heal from your stepdad
K: 'heal?'
J: yeah like how you barely talk and how you're scared of touch. i can help you with all of that
K: 'how?'
J: you're not scared when i touch you right?
K: 'not really. i trust you'
i read it and smiled at her
J: I'm really glad you trust me
K: 'i still don't get how you're going to help me'
J: we'll take baby steps okay. we'll start with touch first and then talking. we'll take everything slow so don't worry
~Kenzie's POV~
he grabbed my hand. i didn't flinch. he put my hand up to his cheek. i slid my hand up and down his cheek. it was so soft and delicate. i know it was weird but i slid my hand down to his arm and rubbed his arm gently. he had such smooth soft delicate skin. i slid my hand down to his and this was also weird but i rubbed his hand. all of his skin was so soft and i wasn't scared at all. not a single flinch.
J: good kenzie. very good
