Stepdad= (S)
~Johnny's POV~
S: I'm her stepdad and who might you be?
J: Johnny. Johnny Orlando
i held my hand out for him to shake and i smiled at him but apparently i didn't make a good first impression since it looked like i was trying to make the moves on his daughter so i just moved my hand away.
S: nice to meet you Johnny. how do you know my daughter?
J: oh i just came over because she looked cold and i felt bad for her
S: well thank you for being so nice to her
J: you're welcome. you can keep the jacket Kenzie. it's an old one anyway
i smiled at her and i don't know if i was seeing things but she smiled at me for a second until her stepdad said something.
S: may i see you in the house for a second kenzie?
Kenzie started shaking again and she nodded and looked at me with fear in her eyes and i knew something was wrong.
J: actually my mom offered to take Kenzie to school so Kenzie should really be coming with me now
S: don't worry. she'll only be a second
J: i know but we don't want to risk her being late on the first day
S: if she's late then I'll just write her an excuse note. It's nothing to worry about but i really need to see her in the house
he grabbed Kenzie by her arm and there was still fear in her eyes. i hope everything is okay with her.
~Kenzie's POV~
my mom is at work and Maddie left for school already. she goes to a private school so that means I'd be alone with him in the house right now.
S: what did i tell you about these boys Mackenzie! you're mines!
he lifted his hand up and it went straight across my face and i held my cheek. he shoved me to the ground and yelled at me and hit me over and over again. there were bruises all over my arm and a red mark on my cheek.
S: now go fix yourself so no one can see your bruises!
i walked upstairs and went to the bathroom and put some concealer on my bruises and i tried my best to cover up the red mark on my cheek. by the time i went back downstairs he was gone and i walked to school.

i walked into the school and i went over to my locker and then i saw Kenzie. i really hope she's okay. she seemed so scared and i just want to know what happened to make her the way that she is. just as i was lost in my thoughts someone called my name. i turned around and i saw...
