~Kenzie's POV~
i walked into my room and shut the door and turned around and saw Johnny climbing in my window. i quickly locked the door
J: Johnny to the rescue
he said quietly so my stepdad wouldn't hear him and i just looked at him and started pointing towards the window trying to tell him to get out
J: come on let's go. I'm not that stupid. i know he's here now do you want to get out of here or not?
he held out his hand and i sighed and shook my head and backed away from him
J: please Kenzie I'm sorry. now do you trust me and want to get out of here?
i slowly started to grab his hand until i heard a bang on my door
S: Kenzie why is your door locked! unlock it right now!
i didn't move
J: please Kenzie come on
S: unlock this door right now!
i still didn't move
S: fine I'll just use this key i have!
we heard the door starting to unlock and i quickly grabbed his hand and we started climbing out the window. there was a zip line across from my window to his and i shook my head at him
J: it's okay just hold onto me tightly okay? i promise i won't ever let anything bad happen to you
i nodded and wrapped my arms around his waist as he quickly wrapped the rope around us and he grabbed onto the zip line
J: ready?
i nodded and then my stepdad unlocked my door and ran over to the window and he grabbed my arm and i started shaking and then Johnny...
