~Johnny's POV~
i sat up and saw Lauren
L: Johnny? are you okay? why are you crying?
i quickly wiped away my tears
J: I'm not
L: yes you are...well were
J: just leave me alone
L: is this about Kenzie?
i sighed and nodded and she sat down beside me and hugged me
J: she hates me
L: why did you have to be such an idiot?
J: look i did the bet but i did it for a good reason
L: what good reason is there to do a bet for?
J: i knew something bad was going on in her life and i didn't want it to keep happening. i guess i wanted her to feel safe and protected from what was happening to her so i figured if i got close to her then i would know what it was and i would be able to stop it. i never ever meant to hurt her
L: aw that's so sweet. you really love her don't you?
J: more than anything else to ever exist
L: even fortnite?
i laughed a bit and smiled
J: yes Lauren. even fortnite
L: wow that's a shocker
she laughed and so did i
J: thanks for making me feel a little bit better
L: of course and I'll make sure Kenzie talks to you
J: thanks sis
L: no problem bro
she hugged me and i hugged her back and then she got up and walked out of my room and i sighed and laid back down and closed my eyes and fell asleep.

~Kenzie's POV~
i woke up and i was next to Lauren. i looked at her and smiled. I'm glad she's my friend. i just can't believe her brother is such a jerk. he really hurt me. i can't believe he could do that to me. i laid there looking up at the ceiling and started crying silently. the one guy i trusted and actually cared for hurt me. it hurts so bad. all of a sudden i was broken out of my thoughts as i heard my name. i sat up and...
