chapter 70 - prom

~Kenzie's POV~
Johnny kept opening and closing his mouth. he was trying to ask me something but he looked scared. he looked really nervous
K: what is it John?
he took a deep breath then held my hand
J: Mackenzie, will do you me the honor of being my date to the prom?
i smiled in shock
K: r-really?
J: yeah...there's no one else i want to be there with
i smiled and nodded
K: of course I'll be your date
he smiled and kissed my cheek
J: i was really scared you were going to say no
K: why would i do that?
J: well because-
K: i like you Johnny
he smiled
J: i like you too
everybody said awww and me and Johnny laughed
L: date already
K: not yet
J: yet?
K: when I'm ready
J: I'll wait for you as long as it takes
i smiled and hugged him and he hugged me back
-two weeks later-
~Johnny's POV~
L: Johnny come on we're gonna be late!
J: I'm coming!
i shouted from my room while putting my tie on then i walked out of my room and saw Lauren and Kenzie standing at the door waiting for me
J: wow
Kenzie turned around and looked at me and smiled
K: you look handsome
J: you look beautiful princess
she smiled and blushed and i walked over to her and kissed her cheek then grabbed her hand and put a corsage on her wrist and linked my arm with hers
M: wait i need to take pictures
i rolled my eyes playfully and my mom took pictures of me and Kenzie and then pictures of Lauren and Carson. oh right if you didn't know Lauren and Carson are dating now. finally, i thought they would never get together. after my mom finished taking pictures we walked outside and their was a limo
K: woah a limo
J: only the best for you princess
she smiled at me and we all got in the limo and went to the school. we got out the limo and walked into the school and the photographer took some pictures of us then we went to the dance floor and me and Kenzie started slow dancing
-an hour later-
after an hour of dancing and eating i had to get ready for Kenzie's surprise so i gave Lauren a little code with my hands and then she walked over
L: hey Kenzie wanna come get some punch with me?
K: uh sure
her and Kenzie walked over to the table and i walked up on the stage. i was really nervous but I'm doing this for the girl i love
J: uh hello everybody. may i have your attention?
everybody stopped dancing and looked at me including Kenzie
J: Mackenzie Frances Ziegler...will you come up to the stage please?
she looked confused at me and slowly walked up on the stage and i took her hand
J: from the day i met you i instantly fell in love. i was known as a player and then i met you and all of a sudden i knew what love was. you make me so happy and you're the strongest most amazing person i know and i want you to know that I'm so in love with you and i know you may not be ready but I'm just going to ask you this now
i took a deep breath then slowly took a ring out a pocket
J: will you accept this promise ring as my promise to love you forever and treat you like my princess and my world and my everything and so much more
K: J-John what are you saying?
J: Mackenzie Frances Ziegler...will you be my girlfriend?
tears formed in her eyes and she smiled and nodded
K: yes John of course I'll be your girlfriend
i smiled and picked her up and spun around with her and everybody was saying awww and cheering for us. i put her down and then out of nowhere she kissed me and i kissed her back and we kissed for like a minute then slowly pulled away and i put our foreheads together and held both of her hands and said softly to her
J: i love you princess
K: and i love you

(i hoped you guys liked this story and I'm so sad this one ended and i hope you guys know this story was inspired by scarred so some things were similar to it but i wasn't copying the story but i really hoped you guys enjoyed this story and i can't wait for you to read my next fan fic)
