chapter 63 - hurt

~Kenzie's POV~
i turned around and saw a girl. she was a bit shorter than me and she had blond hair
R: hi I'm ruby, what's your name?
K: uh Kenzie
i turned back around. I'm not the most social person as you can tell
R: uh you looked a bit lonely so i just came to talk to you
K: oh uh thanks
R: well uh it was nice talking to you Kenzie
she walked off and then i looked around and then i felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and i flinched
J: it's okay princess it's just me
he whispered softly in my ear and i smiled and turned around to face him
K: hey having fun?
J: not without you of course
K: oh please i saw you having fun with your friends
J: come dance with me
he held out his hand and i smiled and slowly took his hand and we walked a little bit in the middle of the room and we started dancing. he then started twirling me and we both laughed and smiled and then he dipped me and i slowly came back up to where my face was inches away from his and then we both slowly leaned in until we got interrupted by Hayden walking over to us
H: uh sorry for interrupting but you and Kenzie have to leave the room now
J: why?
H: no time to explain
J: look hayden I'm here to have fun at my party. I'm not leaving and neither is Kenzie
B: excuse me everyone. can i have everyone's attention?
H: oh no
Johnny slowly let go of me and everyone including me and Johnny looked at Brandon and he had the microphone in his hand
B: as we all know I've been friends with Johnny for awhile now and not too long ago we made this crazy bet
J: Brandon what are you doing?
B: everyone here knows Johnny's a player
i looked confused. there's no way Johnny's a player. he's the sweetest guy ever
B: well we made this bet that he couldn't get the new girl Kenzie
J: Brandon cut it out right now
K: J-Johnny what is he talking about?
J: nothing
B: i can't believe he agreed to the bet and by the looks of it he's got Kenzie wrapped around his little finger
everyone looked at me and i looked down as tears slide down my face
J: Kenzie please i can explain
i looked up at him
K: there's nothing to explain. i was just some bet to you!
J: no Kenzie that's not true
K: leave me alone. i never want to talk to you again!
i ran down the hall in a random room and slammed the door and i sat down on the floor and started crying. why would Johnny do this to me. i thought he liked me. i was really hurt. i then heard a knock on the door and i wiped away my tears
K: w-who is it
the door opened and i saw...
who did Kenzie see?
