~Johnny's POV~
M: Johnny! Lauren! get up! you're gonna be late for school!
i heard my mom say as i was half asleep. i got up and put on my clothes and walked downstairs and ate breakfast.
M: we have new neighbors
L: i know I'm so excited to meet them! who are the new neighbors?
M: i heard it was two girls and their mother and father
L: how old are the girls?
M: one of them is going to your school. she's 14 and the other one is 15
i didn't say anything because i just didn't really care i guess. as i was finishing eating while my mom and sister kept blabbing on and on about the new neighbors. there was a knock on the door and i went over and opened the door to see two girls.
Maddie Ziegler= (MZ)
MZ: hi I'm Maddie and this is my sister Mackenzie but she prefers to be called Kenzie
J: uh hi Maddie and Kenzie
MZ: Kenzie say hi
Kenzie didn't say one word. she just stood there and studied me like i was a total stranger. i mean i was but she acted like i was a threat to her.
J: is she okay?
MZ: sorry about my sister. she doesn't really like to talk
J: why not?
MZ: it's all because of our stupid stepdad. he-
Kenzie shook her head quickly at Maddie and Maddie stopped talking.
J: well it was nice to meet both of you
MZ: yeah uh come on Kenzie
Maddie and Kenzie walked off and i grabbed my book bag and walked out the door and waited for my mom and Lauren to finish. i saw Kenzie but i didn't see Maddie. Kenzie was standing there shaking so i walked over to her.
J: are you cold?
Kenzie didn't say anything but she slowly nodded and i took off my jacket and put it over her and she flinched.
J: I'm sorry. you said you were cold so i just-
i was cut off by someone walking out of her house and Kenzie started shaking as she looked at the person walking out of her house.
?: well well well. want to introduce me to your new friend Kenzie?
J: I'm sorry i was just leaving. she looked cold so i just offered her my jacket. who are you?
?: I'm...
who's the unknown person?
