~Johnny's POV~
J: I'll explain later mom. Kenzie can you hear me?
i grabbed her hand gently and held it and she squeezed it and then took a deep breath and opened her eyes
J: Kenzie are you okay now?
she nodded slowly
J: I'm going to put you in my arms okay?
she nodded again and i sat down next to her and gently put her in my lap and she laid her head on my chest and i stroked her hair
M: will someone please explain what's going on here?
LA: I'm here to talk to Mackenzie about the court case with her stepdad
M: why a court case?
LA: her stepdad has been charged with rape and abuse of his daughter Mackenzie Ziegler and he's locked up right now but we need to talk to Mackenzie to know further information for the court case
M: oh my, Kenzie that's awful
L: Kenzie that's terrible and really explains a lot
J: that's why she's always been like this mom, i couldn't tell you because i didn't want Kenzie to be mad at me
LA: if you guys don't mind i need to talk to Mackenzie
J: no not right now. come back later. she needs to calm down and process everything first before saying or doing anything
LA: okay that's understandable. call me when she's ready to talk
the lawyer gave my mom a card and then left
M: John you should've told us about this sooner and we could've done something
J: i wanted to but everything is okay now mom so don't worry
L: what's going to happen with Kenzie now?
J: Lauren let's not-
