Her head ached, her whole body ached. Fighting with galaxy creatures was more tiring then she thought.
If they were strong how strong was Thanos? The thought of it made Nova distress.
Nova throughout the trip back to Wakanda remained silent not daring to move knowing it'll only hurt her wounds more.
But the agent wondered what on earth happened to Stark and that Peter boy. Did they get on the ship? What about Banner, Doctor Strange or Wong?
Nova had lost Shuri's device and her own phone so she had no idea if she was getting calls from anyone.
The Wakandian put the news on the ship seeing how the destruction of New York was all over the place with Stark missing. She warned the agent that by now everyone in Wakanda would already be seeing this including T'Challa.
Nova didn't say much only she hoped that T'Challa wasn't trying to go to New York himself but she knew that Okoye would stop him if he tried.
When the ship came to a stop Nova perked her head up at the solider who gave her a firm nod,"We are here Ms.Fury."
Nova nodded going to stand up but her legs shook instantly leaning against the wall,"Ms.Fury do you need assistance?"
Nova shook her head,"No..I'll be fine. Just feels weird that's all" she said walking out the ship.
Stepping out seeing how it was broad daylight Nova squinted her eyes in annoyance but still continued to walk.
Several soldiers saw the state Nova was in and immediately stopped the pleading for her to go to the infirmary with Shuri. But Nova ignored and left them going by herself to look for T'Challa.
She had to show him that she was okay so that he wouldn't be tempted to go to New York.
Walking through the jungle part almost tripping every now and then she finally noticed T'Challa who was with Okoye and Bucky standing beside a tree with a couple of children playing around.
Nova felt relief rush through her blood instantly forgetting about all the wounds that covered her body as she walked slowly to the three.
She could hear the children gasping at her appearance instantly rushing over to her excited to see she was there.
"Nov! Nova!" They cheered catching the attention of the three. Nova stared down at the children smiling weakly at them.
"Hey little ones" Nova greeted going to kneel down but she let out a small wince unaware of Okoye and T'Challa rushing over to her.
Feeling her knees buckle underneath her she felt T'Challa wrap his around her putting her weight into him.
Nova winced into his shoulder as his arms wrapped tightly around her. Okoye told the children to scurry off as T'Challa scanned her face seeing the cuts throughout her body,"You have no idea how close I came to going to New York" he said causing Nova to smile.
"I know that's why I came first to see you" she said into his shoulder. T'Challa wasted no time in picking her up and rushed her down to Shuri's lab.
She sat down on Shuri's table hissing in pain as the technology of vibranium was healing her wounds.
T'Challa stood beside his sister while Okoye stood at the doorway watching them as they waited for Nova to explain what she was thinking.
"Guess my thoughts were right. Thanos is someone we should take seriously. He's coming to earth and he wants the infinity stones" she explained.
Shuri frowned looking at her brother who looked deep in thought,"What do the stones do?"
"They create an aspect of life. If he gets all of them he can end life just like this" Nova exclaimed snapping her fingers in a second.
Shuri took Novas hand causing the agent to look up at her,"Well solve this Nova."
Nova laughed dryly shaking her head,"I doubt it. Unless we get one of the stones and destroy it but obviously that can't happen cause I don't know where the time stone nor where the mind stone is."
"Then what exactly do you plan on doing?" Okoye said making the Agent look at her,"Fight til I drop dead to the ground if it means saving the world like I've always do."
Nova slowly got up not caring if she wasn't fully done healing and left leaving the three Wakandians to themselves.
