"It's way to early for this," Luke complained, fixing his hair under his beanie, "who the hell even listens to the radio this early?"

"No one," Michael hissed, "no one is actually is ever up this early."

"Why can't they do radio shows at a normal time. I need my sleep," Calum complained, yawning loudly.

"What time is it anyway," Ashton shouted, cringing at the grogginess of his own voice.

"Too loud mate," Michael grimaced, shoving his hands over his ears.

The drive looked at the clock and then at his rear view mirror, so he could see the boys clearly, "8:30."

The boys gains in unison and returned to complaining, the occasional swear word being tossed around. They were all up late the night before, listening to their new album which had recently came out. In hindsight that probably wasn't the best idea.

"Okay this is as far as I go," the driver said, parking the car by some random sidewalk.

"What do you mean? We aren't even close to the radio station," Calum said, informing the driver of something he already knew.

"Yes I know but your fans closed the road so I can't go any farther. You'll need to walk," the drive sighed, unlocking the doors, "Your body guards will be waiting there. Good luck."

"Maybe this will wake us up," Ashton sighed, getting out of the car, the other boys close behind.

"Let's go then," Luke sighed, making his way down the street.

"This is bull," Michael grumbled, shoving his hand deep into his pockets.

"Sure is," Calum agreed, as they turned a corner.

"Anyone know where we're going," Ashton asked, looking at the boys curiously.

"Not a clue," Luke sighed.

"Perfect," Ashton groaned.

Suddenly Luke felt something touch his arm. He turned around and saw a girl there, probably a fan. If he was being completely honest though, she was hot.

"Hey," he said with a smile.

"Hey Luke," she stuttered cutely, "I know you have a radio thing to get to but could I have a picture?"

"Sure thing," he nodded, "What's your name?"

"Jessica," she smiled, running her hand nervously through her hair.

Before he could say another word she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly, before mumbling quietly, "Thank you for saving my life as well as many others."

"We do what we can," he smiled, looking at the boys surrounding him.

"You don't understand how much you guys help us," she said, addressing the rest of the boys as well now.

"Thanks," Calum smiled softly, "That's exactly what we all needed right now."

"Can we all get a picture," she asked softly.

"Whose gonna take it," Ashton asked softly before getting an idea, "Can I borrow your camera."

She handed him her phone and motioned for the boys to stand around her and he launched himself in front, holding his arm out as far as he could, "1....2....3....smile."

He flashed the picture and the girl smiled, hugging Ashton tightly, "thank you."

She hugged the rest of the boys before returning back to Luke, "thanks."

"No," he whispered with a smile, "thank you."

She hugged him again and he whispered softly, "You smell nice," before backing away slowly.

"See ya around Jess," Calum said with a smile, "We love you."

"Love you too," she smiled, "Good luck on the radio."

"Fuck," Ashton whispered looking at the boys, "sorry but we really need to go."

And with that they were off, sprinting down unknown roads. Unbeknownst to them, the girl was on her way to a bridge, seconds from ending her life. Thanks to those 4 boys, Jess is still okay, not perfect, but okay.

And sometimes okay is enough to get by.
